Loved this as a companion piece to Comfort's Touch (because sometimes Logan can just be--well--dumb. It's interesting to see it from his side. If this is not a companion piece, than I just feel all depressed now. Interesting change to see Logan as the uncertain and hopeless one in the Rogan universe.

Wow! This was perfect. Your characterizations are flawless and I think this story will haunt me. It's amazing how well Marie could know Logan without really "knowing" him. "And you think I'd settle with something less than what I actually want." That line was the clincher. It's so true--Logan would never settle, and so many people bring it up as a possibility all of the time! It's great that you made that point. And then when he tells her to tell him that she loves him, after declaring how well he knows her! OMG! It's romantic, but it's still so perfectly Logan. This was amazing!

I should just go back and re-read all of your stories! I know you're working on one in the moment, but I like to wait until their finished, because I kind of get . . . obsessive and I have this thing about starting stories that haven't been finished yet. I know you promised you never would leave a story behind, but I hate it when people don't finish them. Anyway, I love the way you show Logan's vulnerability and his propensity to be an asshole too. The way you portray his personality is very realistic. He is good (oh, so good!) but very flawed too--and not just in the sexy "tall, dark and brooding" way but in a "he's a total jerk" way tool.
