Wow. this is going on my favorites list, if for no other reason than it hits VERY CLOSE to home. The situations were so true to life, it took me right back to when I was 17 and involved in a similar situation with an older guy. I love the complex relationship you have drawn between Logan and Rogue. It's that fine line Logan walks between love/posessiveness and outright obsession that made this story so fascinating. Nice to see Rogue fully fleshed out and complex as well. Great job! Now about those other stories you're witholding from us...
Author's Response: yay for favorite list! yeh, you\'ve got logan spot on, he\'s built his whole world around her, note that he doesn\'t seem to hav much to do at the mansion. and yes, making Rogue a likable, fleshed out character was very important to me. most readers - me included - tend to really focus on the males and when they do focus on females you dnt tend to find them likable, so i really worked to make it not so with marie otherwise this story wouldn\'t have worked. so i\'m glad it worked for you. lol, next part will be posted asap. and the 3rd part is already 6500+ words long so it\'s coming along well.
Logan has taken in a desperate and on-the-run Marie who has offered ‘anything’ in exchange for his protection. Logan wants everything. This story chronicles is what happens to them and their relationship dynamic as they learn about each other during the return ride to Xavier’s. It also explores how their rather non-traditional relationship is received by the team once they arrive at the mansion. This story was inspired by Kristine’s “Anything” http://www.wolverineandrogue.com/wrfa/viewstory.php?sid=2559. This story will make more sense if you have read "Anything" first as my opening chapter picks up right where Kristine’s story ends. Besides her story is one of the best W/R pieces ever written so you might as well go read it - NOW! :)…I’ll wait.

Oh, YAY!!!!! You're back with this story. And what a chapter, with some great, HOT smut. I have to admit I'm with White Dove that the whole thing makes me a bit uncomfortable, but I don't really mind being made to feel uncomfortable ;-) Because hey, what's the point of writing fiction if you're too afraid to ruffle a few feathers on the way? I can't believe this story hasn't gotten more reviews! Personally, I loved it. Complex characters with issues up the wazoo, and can I just say that Logan's obsession with Rogue in this is just, um...whoa. Too hot to handle. The sex scenes were so hot my laptop almost melted down. And I didn't expect to get a warm fuzzy feeling from this story, but I love the way it all turned out. Dialogue was very true to life and the whole piece was very well written and engaging from start to finish. This one is going into the faves. I hope you write some more for this fandom!

OMFG how on earth did I miss this until now? Holy crap, this is exactly the fic I needed in my life. I just...uh, humma...fwrwr...I have no words to describe how many levels of perfect this is. Bastard!Logan is so...gah! And I don't know why, but this paragraph made me literally laugh out loud:
"Her face flushed. Had he just fucked her because she was easy? Wanted the trophy of her virginity before Remy took it? But wouldn't he then he bragging? She stared blankly at her open book. Fuck, she was confused."
I really hope you'll write more of this pairing. Okay, gone to take an ice cold shower now...or find the hubby. ;-)
