The Wolverine & Rogue Fanfiction Archive
Barely Legal Since 2000
I almost did not click on this fic when I saw the word count but boy am I glad I did.
This story was amazing and I too would love a sequel
Author's Response: I almost didn\'t post it because I hate short fics, but I felt like I should give it a chance. I am so glad you gave it one, as well! Thank you...
Holy cow!
I normally avoid these types of AU stories as they usually feature an almost too tough Marie but I am so glad I clicked on this one because it is amazing.
You balance Maries independence with the perfect amount of insecurity.
I laughed so hard at the "I'm....Canadian" line and the "they got you too" was heartwrenching as well as the last line of this chapter.
Can't wait for more!
Author's Response: I\'m glad you\'re liking it! And that you\'re liking the balance of toughness and vulnerability for Marie. She is actually coming across a little more neurotic than I had expected, so it\'s good to see that you are not finding her to be annoyingly weak. She will show a little more strength later, of course. :-)
"Lets paint a *happy* Wolverine"
*Snicker snicker*
Loved it and totally did not see that coming!
You don't know if you should continue it!!????
Woman!! If you don't I will find you!!!
Im really interested to see where this goes.
Author's Response: Thanks :). I\'m glad you enjoyed.
Dont know if its the stupid pregnancy hormones or your just that damn good but parts of this had me tearing up.
Im leaning towards it being due to your superb writing skills.
Holy crap woman, you are a freaking master mind...Im loving where this is going, its been a while since I have read a good, involved story line.
My only complaint, as an equestrian is the over use of stallions in stories...but thats beside the point and just me being anal...
Loved it, and Im hoping you will once again not be able to keep us waiting :)
Author's Response: Ha...I almost put in a disclaimer that I know bugger-all about horseback riding except what I\'ve picked up from Dick Francis novels, and of course they don\'t tend to \"fix\" racehorses. Would it be more likely to be a gelding, then, or would she be riding the mare? I\'m happy to change it. Please also let me know if I got any of the other lingo wrong. I Googled for a long time trying to figure out if there was a different word for those little half-doors on the stalls. ;-)
You have no idea how giddy I got when I saw this update, and you did not disappoint!
I loved it, and I feel horrible about nitpicking the horse thing lol.
Author's Response: Argh, don\'t feel guilty about nitpicking, I\'ve been waiting anxiously for your answer so I can correct it! Seriously, should it be mare or gelding? *Please* let me know! Thanks for the review. So glad I made you giddy. ;-)
Crap, sorry hun I did not see your response to my first review.
Usually horses are only kept stallions in the event that they are being shown or are of breeding quality. So its more likely to be a mare or gelding...in a responsible situation at least lol.
Author's Response: Thanks for the correction! I did have the thought that Shaw might be a little too tied to his ideas of masculinity to have his stallions gelded, but I think you\'re right. I want him to be pretty even-tempered. Thanks so much for your advice!
Damn it!!
It really sucks that your so good at building up a cliff-hanger.
Author's Response: Thanks! And thanks so much for reviewing!
Ahem...I think you left off a few chapters...
Seriously though? Amazing!
Author's Response: LOL. Thanks, I\'m glad you enjoyed reading. Maybe I could tack on an NC-17 sequel . . . *slaps self* No, bad, must go back to work on Feral!
Im in love with this, and so glad to see it updated...now..maybe a measure for measure update? pretty please with Logan on top?
Author's Response: How can anyone resist a Logan on top? I\'m doing my damnedest to get Measure for Measure back on track in my brain and on paper...er, computer. Mutant for Hire is way easier to write so I had to start with this when I got back in the saddle. I\'m just so glad you haven\'t given up on me and are still reading! Thanks so much for reviewing. I love every single one I get.
Just letting you know that some people are still compulsively reading and re-reading this amazing work of fiction in hopes that one day you will update :)
I love this story.
Author's Response: I keep forgetting about it. Maybe I\'ll dive back in a little bit... Thanks for the reiew, and the nudge!\r\n
That chapter was way too short.
Not fair!
Author's Response: *nods* I know, hopefully I will have the next chapter up next week.
Good lord almighty!! You better not leave us hanging for long.
This sucked me in so fast, wonderfully and intensely written.
I'm excited to see where this goes!
Author's Response: Thanks! I don\'t plan on leaving anything hanging :D Thanks for the review!
This is just so damn good.
This is such a fantastic story.
I have refrained from tapping my foot as being a fellow creative (photography, not literature) I know pressure never helps bit I am aching for more!!
Author's Response: I promise, more is on the way soon! Had a week of being sick, a week of no fun at work, and a week of not knowing how to get the next part out. Hang in there, and thanks for reading! :)
This...this makes up for To run in Circles...it totally does.
Please don't leave us hanging for years, this is brilliant!!
Author's Response: **sighs with deep, deep relief**\r\n
I do hope you wont leave us waiting for long, I love rereading the entire story every time you update
