Author's Response: i haven\'t forgotten! I\'m about to toss a drama bomb into the storyline because really soon there will be the double date and Logan and Scott will meet and of course, the infamous party. So yeah, there\'s more rides to come.
thanks for the great feedback-- you can *never* write too much! And double thanks for teh sweet words about errors and typos. I know they\'re there. But as long as there aren\'t too many than hopefully they don\'t distract from the story too much. which sounds like the case here (fingers crossed).

You are a really great writer. The story is very real, even for an AU without powers! And you developed the characters pretty well.

First of all, sorry you had a bad night! Hope you are doing better now!
You know, I came here today just to look up for things and you had updated!!! Then I saw that it was a big chapter (more than 5,000 words!!) and that there would be some drama.
Wow! Gotta tell you: I love some angst!!! And I was missing it in this story!!! It was about time everyone find out! Amazingly, I was happy while reading it, because I love the characters to suffer before a happy ending...hahahahaha
It was my favorite chapter so far, I kept reading it slowly, enjoying every moment, afraid to get too soon to the end!
I loved the discussion with Jean, I feel just like her, always having to be the perfect one, the one that does everything right, that can't disapoint anyone!
You know, what makes your story so good, even for a no-powers one, is that it is very real, you kept the essence of the characters, and above all, because you are a really good writer. You know how to keep it interesting, and make us want more when a chapter is over! The story is very well developted, you don't forget characters, or situations, everything fits perfectly.
I'm really anxious about the next chapter (as always), although I'm having a bad feeling that this story will be over soon!
PS: I'm not gonna offer to be the beta because english is not my first language! Oh, I'm from Brazil and I just foud out a place that sells peanut butter *_* Now I need the boyfriend!!!
Author's Response: i am doing much better today! And I completely agree about the angst. I love a story with a good bit of dirt in it, but considering how I\'ve tried to keep this one fairly light, I didn\'t feel like I could make it *too* angsty and still be able to get away with it.

It got really busy for me recently but it should all slow down soon and give me time to put into the next chapter.
hooray for finding the peanut butter!! you know what? I don\'t even love it, to be honest. I like Reese\'s candies, but I probably only have a PB (and honey) sandwich about once a year. So, first of all, sorry for all the work you had at your job. Why can't your boss see that this fic is way more important than all those papers he gave you? =P
Well, I'm just so jealous of you right now because of your new puppy. I'm thinking seriously of getting one too, even if my mother will kill me when she finds out!
So, to the story...
like everyone else, I wanted more Logan in this, but totally agree that you had to fix things between Marie and Jean first. I loved the scene in the three house. Very touching!
I think everyone who has a sister (or in my case, a brother) feels like those two. I'm a lot like Jean, actually, only I had to be perfect in everything because that was the only way of getting my parents atention. I bet my brother feels like I get all the atention because I'm the perfect one. Brother and sister relationships are always hard, no matter what! Anyway, this is not a terapy section! =P
Continuing with the story: I love the 'will they or won't they' with Jean and Scott. Although I don't like the Jean from the movies, I have no problem with this one. So it's ok if she gets a happy ending!
Now, the most important thing: please don't take another week to update again!!! Don't go to work, call in sick, just don't torture us again...hahahahaha
Oh, and please don't finish this story too soon. It's soo good I wouldn't mind reading another more 20 chapters!

I was trying to make the discussion intimate so i didn\'t want it to happen in the middle of a party or in a big \'ole kitchen. i\'m glad the treehouse worked. and hey-- if they had broken into a fight atleast there, where it\'s cramped, they couldn\'t have inflicted much damage on the other person. hm. unless one defenestrated another. huh. anyway, glad you liked it and it worked.

Logan has taken in a desperate and on-the-run Marie who has offered ‘anything’ in exchange for his protection. Logan wants everything. This story chronicles is what happens to them and their relationship dynamic as they learn about each other during the return ride to Xavier’s. It also explores how their rather non-traditional relationship is received by the team once they arrive at the mansion. This story was inspired by Kristine’s “Anything” http://www.wolverineandrogue.com/wrfa/viewstory.php?sid=2559. This story will make more sense if you have read "Anything" first as my opening chapter picks up right where Kristine’s story ends. Besides her story is one of the best W/R pieces ever written so you might as well go read it - NOW! :)…I’ll wait.
