Wow. Very hot and sexy and all that special good stuff
Author's Response: i try... glad you enjoyed.
So funny! Really made my day!
Author's Response: cheers! glad to have entertained!
Your story was on a favorites list of another author I really enjoy and I must say, I so happy that I spent the majority of my weekend reading this story. I adore your Rogue, strong Rogue always appeals to me and the time and care you put into this story was superb. A truly enjoyable read. It's going in my favorites folder as well!
Beautiful. I'm finally beginning to leave reviews and I must say, it's stories like this that reconfirm my belief that Rogan is the only pairing for them. Nicely done
Yet another wonderful story! I read this a while ago, nice to rediscover it.
Author's Response: glad you enjoyed ;-)
Another fantastic story!
Author's Response: aw shucks, you\'re making me blush here...
Hi there. I am going through another authors favourite list and this story was the first on it and I have to say, just beautiful. I have read the other story you suggested as companion piece but this does stand perfect on its own.
Author's Response: Aw, thanks so much! I\'m so glad you liked it. It was the first fanfic I ever wrote, so I\'m sure there are some big problems with it, but it sucked me into the world of Rogan fanfic so that\'s a good thing! Thanks so much for reviewing.
Oh my. That was heavenly! Great job
Took me a while to read this but it was so worth it. Well done, I really enjoyed this story!
Another fantastic story. Awesome
Author's Response: Thanks so much for your review! So glad you liked it.
Another great story! At the rate I'm going, I'm not going to get a good nights sleep but once I start a story, I can't stop. I can't wait to read your prisoner story.
I found this story on another author's favorites list and I have to tell you, what a beautifully crafted story. I look forward to reading your other stories.
I'm going through another authors faves list and your story was a definite find! I really enjoy reading stories where Rogue is showcased as a strong woman and on equal footing with Logan and the rest of the XMen. You did a great job!
Author's Response: Thank you so much. I\'m glad you saw her that way, she\'s definitely not a shrinking violet in my universe. ;) Glad you enjoyed it.
I tried to leave a review this morning but for some reason the website was having problems. My review was pretty long so it's probably a good thing it got banished into the Internet limbo! You are on another authors favorites list who I really enjoy and I am so happy she led me to you. This story defies description. So haunting and beautiful and real
Author's Response: Aw that\'s too bad. I love reviews :). But thank you so much for posting another after your first got banished to limbo! I\'m glad you\'re enjoying my writing. The rest of what I\'ve written in this fandom is mostly fluff, but I do have a couple of darker, more \"literary\" pieces like this in the works. I hope you\'ll enjoy them as well once they\'re finished.
I agree with Serafim. Structuring the chapters the way you did really made me get to feel their emotions as things were slowly revealed. Great job
Author's Response: Thanks for the read and the review. I\'m glad you liked the structuring as well. I can\'t say that I\'m entirely happy with this story, but it was the first W/R piece I imagined, so it\'s got that special place, hehe :).
Exciting stuff. I like how you brought Laura back into this, it's not just Logan who is missing her. It would have affected the young girl as well and their conversation in the kitchen was heartbreaking. I had my heart in my throat when Rogue chased after Laura, I thought for sure that is was Rogue who was in danger. Wow. So many twists and turns
Author's Response: Again, thank you. I only write what my muses want me to do...usually, anyway. ;)
Oh God, this was so funny! And by the way, I really enjoyed this chapters after Rogue's abduction because it showcases who she is/was before Logan found her in Alberta. This is probably who she was before Magneto came along and screwed with her head and also, who she is without Logan running through her mind. No hero worship or anything so I really enjoy their interactions. It's a more level playing field. Very nice take on things. But that BOB thing! Genius!
Author's Response: Thank you, thank you, thank you. That is so true. This is who Rogue is before all that crap that Magneto put her through. Sassy, strong and in your face, someone that Logan saw hints of but never got to know. There is so much more to her than that little girl he rescued, right? Yes, very much a more level playing field, a meeting of equals. Lol about BOB. Couldn\'t help it. :)
Oh my. Very very hot! And funny! I loved how Logan thought je could sneak up on Rogue and although she showed him, I like how in the end be told her not everyone is unbeatable. Cute scene with Kurt, good to see Logan all sexually frustrated and the last part of this chapter was
freaking hot! Go Rogue go !
Author's Response: I agree! Go, Rogue, GO!!
Another chapter that I found myself rereading so many times. Unappreciated how you took the time to really get in Rogue's head, and you managed to make your readers understand how confused she is at the women she used to be. They all seem foreign to her which adds to her growing sense of not belonging. Thank you also for the scene with Piotr, it's that ability of yours with characters that make me so involved in this story. Knut my favourite was with Gambit. Poor guy. You didn't let Rogue off here, she needed to acknowledge how she makes him feel. Good to see that her body naturally rejects anyone who isn't Logan though she doesn't know it yet.
Author's Response: Thanks! And don\'t worry about the typos, I kind of figured out what you were trying to say here. :)
I sometimes think I put to much emphasis on the other characters in my story, but I just can\'t help it and reviews like this make feel a hell of a lot better about it. They demand their \"screen\" time, lol. :)
Oh boy. Another chapter full of goodness. Perfect way to reintroduce her to her former life using Kurt, Daken is sounding nastier by the second and Scott just about broke my heart. Poor guy. Rogue is so lost here
Author's Response: I know. I really put Rogue through the wringer, don\'t I? :)
The twist that Rogue had been working for SHIELD while she was singing was excellent, I love knowing she could do her own thing as a superhero without the XMen. Lots of mystery here as well, another chapter chockful of stuff. Scott's a bit of a jerk here and Gambit is a suave fellow! Fantastic writing
Author's Response: Yep. I guess you can tell I like my Rogue strong and independant. The woman has/had her own thing going on, didn\'t she? ;)
This chapter was so exciting. What a surprise for Gambit to return! Honestly, this was fantastic and wow, so many twists and turns here. This story really gripped me
Author's Response: How could I not bring him back? Gorgeous Cajun man and all that.... :)
I forced myself to read this extra slow so I could truly enjoy your ability to shape the world you have created for this story. I loved Logan's reaction to refocusing the smell on Emma as the same on Rogue, I love how the two of them reconnected on a purely visceral level although it was hard to read Logan forcing himself to hold back. Nice to see Scott feel sorry for Logan and nice to know that Rogue finally allowed herself to cry. She is really suffering though, her identity has been ripped away from her. And again, it's Logan that comforts her. You always make me sigh!
Author's Response: Wow. What a fantastic review. You understood exactly what I was trying to get across. :) Thank you, really, thank you.
