Barely Legal Since 2000
Oh my god.
I have no words for this story. It was phenomenal - dark, bright, beautiful, and even humorous. I have read what seems like nearly every story on this site, and some how I missed this one. This is a masterpiece, and my heart hurts after reading it. The concept of the "just war" will never feel the same to me. Rogue's journey as a protagonist was breathtaking, and I feel that I changed some in part too. At some point, I'd grown less disgusted with the treatment of humans, and I was shocked to discover the metamorphosis along with Rogue.
I think after this story I'll need to take a bit of a break to process, but I intend to look more into your other stories once I recover. The complexity of all the characters and storylines was incredibly detailed and considered. I couldn't have asked for a better story to reignite my Rogan interest. I also appreciate the ability for the reader to consider Rogue's happy ending in both worlds. I can imagine it will be hard to choose which avenue I actually prefer. I only wish I'd been able to see Logan at the end of Chapter 12, but I guess he always comes back for a Rogue crisis....
Thank you so much for publishing this!
I can understand the troubles that can arise with writer's block, and it is very unfortunate that it made you give up on such a wonderful story. I presume that this story will never be reaching an ending after 3 years?
Well, either way thank you for publishing it. I have enjoyed reading it as with most of your stories and I wish you luck with all of your future endeavors. Thanks once again.

This is by far one of the most powerful stories I have ever read. None have brought out such extreme emotions. At points I was almost sick to my stomach and at others I was bawling in tears. It tells such a sad story, one that I can only hope will have a happy ending.
I am certain that you have talent. You must to be able to write material like this. I beg you to continue with this story, and finish it.
I certainly wasn't expecting so much angst from this, however, I still think it was good. Thank you so much for taking the time to put it online so that we could enjoy it. I wish you luck and hope you update soon.

Author's Response: Oh wow! Thank you so much for such kind words!! I have to admit that several times writing the story I, too, have cried and thought \"where in the world is this coming from!\" lol! I promise you and everyone that has read and fallen in love with the story that IT WILL BE FINISHED!! I plan on starting back writing on it in very very soon!! Thank you for taking the time to read it!
Well. I must say you have a fantastic story here, one that holds great emotion and power. I had always skimmed over it before because I thought that I had already read it. I was surprised when I clicked on it by accident and learned that I didn't.
I think you did a great job with this story, and I loved the background story on Wolverine and Rogue. They have such a complicated and intense relationship.
I love this new story line, and I encourage you to continue. I look forward to an update and maybe some more Rogan smut.
Thank you for publishing your story and allowing us to read it. I anticipate an update soon. I hope this helps you to rediscover your muses. Good luck, and thanks again.

Wow. This is a fantastic story, with probably the most dramatic cliffhanger ever.
I must admit, I like a strong Rogue. And even though yours is a little weaker than I would prefer I still thin she's pretty badass. :D
Overall, I'm realy anxious for the next chapter. I hope it all works out. Thank you so much, you have a wonderful story here.

Author's Response: Thanks so much...glad you\'re liking the story. I agree...I usually like a much stronger Rogue. I\'ve been a little surprised at how weak/weepy this one has been, but in all fairness Shaw did kind of f*ck her up something awful. Now that she is Marie again I think you are going to see a lot more strength out of her. You might like my story \"The Prisoner.\" That has a stronger Marie, and is still my favorite of my stories. I\'ll get working on the next chapter. Thanks for reviewing!
A great story, I always enjoy the stories with a darker Rogue. What makes it better are the few rare stories in which she is featured as a assasin. I always find those to be the best. Along with those that take place in the Middle ages, of course.
I'm so glad to have found another story to follow, and I encourage you to continue to update at such a pace. You are doing a fantastic job, and I'm excited for the next chapter.
Update soon. I wish you luck! Thanks.

Author's Response: Thank you so much Ellen. I\'m glad you\'re enjoying and the characters are interesting to you. That\'s what I\'m aming for! :)
Wow. A fantastic story I must say. I loved the introduction of Adam, and his unexpected relationship with Rogue makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I think you also did a great job in approaching the difficulties that Rogue had faced out on her own, and how they have affected her.
I look forward to seeing more of this story and hope it works out between them all. Adam's...insight on Rogue's situation was well thought out I believe.
I would say more, but I'm very tired as it is nearing a very late hour. I guess you will just have to wait until the next chapter. Thanks so much for sharing this story with the fanfiction community. And good luck, I wish you well!

Oh! Goody, goody. I absolutely love this story. And oddly enough one of my more favorite characters is Jack. :)
Marie's background is interesting and I look forward to seeing how much further you wish to go with it. I also hope Marie gets her memory back soon, but as it's a key part of this story I doubt it.
Thanks for publishing this and updating so quickly, I look forward to seeing the next chapter. Good luck!

Author's Response: Thank you Ellen Marie. This is a fun story to write although real life is intruding a bit. Hope you like what\'s coming up next!
