As the cure wears off, Rogue leaves for San Francisco, and after a series of unexpected encounters with a certain mutant in a similar situation, learns a little something about grief, vulnerability, loss—and the things beyond romance. (UPDATE: I've now divided this monster into three parts.)

An amazing piece of literature. The voices are incredibly authentic and the scenes so well crafted I could "see" and "hear" the performances as if they were playing out before me. You completely redeemed X3 with this continuation - a true miracle in my eyes. Please write more of anything!

Author's Response: Thanks so much for the lovely feedback--though I don\'t think anything can redeem the disaster that is X3! I feel like the only way to sit through this film is to see its swell of triumphal misogynistic smugness for what it is, and operate from a point of total revulsion and outrage. Then all the asshat portrayals in it get kind of interesting. Like, \"Wow, yet another monstrous character portrayal. Thank you, film. Now let me punch myself in the face.\"
