Barely Legal Since 2000
I have to say, even though this is not the last chapter, I have loved every moment of this story.
You have an amazing talent that I could only hope to have a quarter of. You can make people envision the scene you are describing. There are many great authors in the world but very few who truly have that ability.
I look forward to reading many more stories from you.
Melody
Author's Response: Thank you so much for your review, and for the compliments, Melody! I know compared to some of my faves on this site I\'m a league below, but I\'ve definitely learned a lot from the first real non-scientific writing I\'ve done in about a decade! ;-)
i am crying on the inside. I knew this day would come, even hoped for it, but now my heart is heavy with sadness.
One of my favorite stories is over. True I can always go back and re-read it time and time again. But its just not the same.
I really loved this chapter, especially the mental game she plays with Scott.
I seriously hope you are writing another story as I am writing this review.
Author's Response: Aw, you are so sweet! I\'m so glad you liked the story, and this chapter. I was worried that it would seem odd that Marie would access powers for such a frivolous purpose, but I couldn\'t resist getting back at Scott a little. And in my thinking, having Logan in her head makes it easier to keep the other personalities in line. I can see him being a bit of a take-charge kind of guy. I don\'t know about another story, but I had no idea I would write the ones I wrote until they started keeping me up at night, so you never know!
i like it. at first, i thought so boy i hope this isn't some fic about him throwing rocks at her window.
like the way it ends with her throwing the pebbles at him.
Author's Response: Haha, no I don\'t think Logan is the throwing rocks at a window type. He\'s more of a bust down the damn door time, right? That\'s why we love him. That & the body. Can\'t forget the body. *Drools*. Thanks for the review!
so, now i'm curious as to who she absorbed.
I love this story. Even though it is short, it packs a big punch.
Author's Response: I left that open to interpretation. Could be Carol or just some random mutant, whatever works for your imagination. I just wanted to focus on the instability, the idea that regardless of who she absorbs it\'s still a crapshoot as to whether she\'s going to come out of it in one piece or not. Thank you for reviewing, it\'s made me smile for the past few days :)
