god, this story is so fantastic so far. you really know how to build characters and plot line and pace yourself- not rushing to fit it all in, but always giving a hearty helping of content with each chapter. keep it up. you're awesome!
this is so f-ing good!!!
everything's been fantastic up to this point! keep it up. damn, it's sexy to get some comic love and comfort brewing between these two, every time. go you!
Author's Response: YAY go me! I\'m glad that you are enjoying it :)
I absolutely love this. Keep it up, please please please. What you've got going is fantastic.
saw the "g" rating and thought perhaps we wouldn't have hotness coursing through the dialogue and internal monologues. glad this was NOT the case. very nice. very interesting. keep it coming. I'm loving it
HOLY SHIT. brilliant.
Author's Response: Not to seem like I have an ego or anything, but I would have to agree.
ahhh! brilliant start. can't wait to see where this goes. LOVE that they're married and she left him. to leave a man like Logan. I don't know WHY yet, of course, but it does allow for a lot of solidity and independence to the character and as much as I love Wolverine (especially as portrayed by Mr. Jackman), Rogue is my favorite X-Men character.
ahhh! I need more. hahaha. Logan's such a tease. I have no doubt he'll make good on his implications, but I'm enjoying the unwinding of the story in the mean time ;)
I found this writing refreshing and I love the characterization of both Wolverine and Rogue. Rogue's a bit harder to peg sometimes, so kudos. haha I love it when Rogue takes on Wolverine's speech patterns and leering and that she just straight up tells it like it is before they leave the bar.
Author's Response: Thank you! I had a lot of fun writing the dialogue, especially Wolverine\'s. And I agree that Rogue can be hard to peg - I think we can all project a lot of different things onto her - so I\'m glad you liked my interpretation of an older, Logan-y Rogue. Thanks for the great comment!
"This story starts slowly, goes slowly, has entirely too much character exploration and essentially no superhero action. Be warned."
Sounds good to me. Too many readers and writers are in too big of a hurry to have things happen lately. I like character and plot DEVELOPMENT.
Author's Response: Heh. Well, settle in. That\'s mostly all there is to see around here. But I hope you enjoy it!
fantastic! I'm a huge fan of this story so far. bring it on!

deliciously painful!
you nailed Logan's attitude toward everything in a way that I find consistent with his character in the comics and movie if put in these circumstances. AU can be difficult but you struggle not. I can't wait to see how you develop Rogue. I'm glad you're taking your time. I can't wait for the next chapter!
so much great character development every step of the way. and I love a 3D Jean Grey. makes it easy to view her as a human and not merely some hated obstacle. better reading experience this way.
Author's Response: Thank you! I think three dimensions are always better than one. G
damn, I really just can't get enough. everyone gets to have so much depth and texture and vitality. thank you for my daily digest of brilliance!
Author's Response: Blushing madly here. Thank you so much for reading and commenting!
sexy, both because it's based on Dangerous Liasions and because you have written it so, so well. very playful, funny, and intricate. I love it.
Author's Response: Thanks for the lovely review!
loved it. keep it coming.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! More coming soon :)
holy shit. niiiiice.
this HAS to be a full series. I fucking love it.
heart-breaking, well-articulated, true to character, and utterly compelling. like it? I love it! please keep it coming.
Author's Response: Like your review? I love it! Thank you. You should see the second chapter soon. Off to start it now....
This is a FANTASTIC premise. Keep writing, please! Don't hesitate. You're really onto something.
Author's Response: Thanks! When I first started thinking about actually writing a story (instead of just reading) I had that quote from Julius Caesar rattling around in my head over and over due to the song from Saltillo (search Youtube for Saltillo - A Necessary End and you\'ll find it) and it sort of sparked a candle. Hopefully it\'ll work out into something worth while. :)
