Okay, funny story. My husband was watching I am Legend while I was reading this - I had my eyes on this story because, well - I hate scary movies. That's not the point though - the point is, when I got to this chapter, it was the 'epic battle' portion of the movie playing in the background with the inspirational swelling soundtrack music. It was crazy - I was reading (and re-reading) parts of this chapter, and I could *see* it happening in my head, and it was all slomo and kick ass - I have never read a fic quite like this one. Your use of language is gorgous. It really made me feel, and feel like I was there - and even at the end, I sort of expected Logan and Marie to make it out, or for Logan to jump up and kick ass. I love that he didn't though, and you chose to tie it all up in an epilogue. It just felt very noir - and I really, really, REALLY loved it. And I felt like I should take the time to tell you that. Fantastic.
Moral degeneracy followed intellectual degeneration.

I am loving how you are writing the Logan/Jubilee side of things. I find a lot of people try to sort make Jubilee clingy and whatnot when they use that little piece of comic canon, and it never sits right with me. Jubes is kick-ass - she should always be that way, haha. I love how Logan's thoughts don't really dwell on Marie, but seem to keep circling back there. It was subtle, and really effective. I can't wait to see what happens - there's so many possibilities! Does Marie end up at Xavier's? Do we have to wait for Logan to go back to Canada? I'm dying to find out! Well, okay, not dying in the literal sense - but absolutely in the figurative one, haha!

I cannot wait for Loagn to find out about Marie and vice verse. I always love stories where they draw out them discovering each other's mutations - it's nice to know that human or mutant, they still connect. And I still love that fight scene, Logan should kick ass more often!

Oh my goodness more please! I started off, and totally thought three chapters in that with thirteen left, I'd probably get to the wedding and the sexings - but no. Logan has taken in a desperate and on-the-run Marie who has offered ‘anything’ in exchange for his protection. Logan wants everything. This story chronicles is what happens to them and their relationship dynamic as they learn about each other during the return ride to Xavier’s. It also explores how their rather non-traditional relationship is received by the team once they arrive at the mansion. This story was inspired by Kristine’s “Anything” http://www.wolverineandrogue.com/wrfa/viewstory.php?sid=2559. This story will make more sense if you have read "Anything" first as my opening chapter picks up right where Kristine’s story ends. Besides her story is one of the best W/R pieces ever written so you might as well go read it - NOW! :)…I’ll wait.

Okay firstly - I love, love love and adore that you are contnuing on Kristine's story. It's one of my favs, and I love the idea of a darker Logan. Loving it - and cannot wait to see more.
Only concrit is that you need to watch for typos - your grammer and flow are great, but I noticed a few times you'd use 'ascent' instead of 'assent', or 'beat' when you needed 'beet', stuff like that - spellcheck doesn't pick up on. So keep an eye out for them. If you need someone else to look it over besides your beta - I've betaed a bit for W/R stories and a lot on others, let me know!
Can't wat for the next part - so going on my favorites, haha.
