Author's Note: I wrote most of this several months ago, intending to include it as part of a larger story, but sadly the 'larger story' fell victim to my rather lengthy and inordinately painful bout of Writer's Block. However, after re-reading this today, I decided that with a few adjustments it might just hold up on its own. So I'm posting it as a form of protest against the WB in the hope that doing so will finally pry open the floodgates and I can, at long last, finish my current WIPs.
