Boy this chappie had me sniggering like a teenager when the class genius gets the mental smack-down from the kid no one thinks can cut it. Assuming just cause he's Logan, just cause he's got all that fightin know-how he'll wipe the floor with lil' Marie. BWAHAHAH! Good job Marie, showing him not to be so damn cocky :D And LOLLERS at neither one of them fighting fair HAHAHA!
I like how Marie is trying to show Logan (since Wolverine already knows it) that he can be truly himself with her, that he doesn't have to lock part of himself away. She loves the light and the dark, the gentle and the fierce, and it's LOGAN that has to mentally come to gripes with that, not Marie. She knew it from the time she touched him, but he just can't get his human mind wrapped around the concept.
Thanks for the great pressie, and sorry I've been delinquent in the commentary. I been reading each time, just life been a bitch and smacking me with 10-12 hour work days and getting sick and all that fun and games, so haven't been doing the comments like I should. Bad me!

I've been keeping up with your story and eagerly awaiting updates, but seem to have slacked in my reviewing-- sorry! I just wanted to tell you that I really liked this chapter. You did a great job of illustrating how in tune with Logan Rogue is, and how she's dealing with a past of her own. Well done!

What she meant, was "Take us to bed, I totally want to take you on in a Scrabble deathmatch." lol. Smut will abound in the next chapter. That's why I had to work in the chapter break. Smut takes SO much work!

A very intriguing snippet into the life they lead together. Methinks they function extremely well together. :) I think asking Samuel for the thanksgiving items is going to tip someone off to Logan's prescence, though. Ooh, I wish they could live in this beautiful little bubble for a while longer. I love the intimacy, and their growing love and appreciation for the other. So sweet! :D

Really enjoyed these two chapters. The tender moments, and how they are opening themselves up to each other, and yet how they always seem to instantly assume the worst when either one of them pulls back or says something lol! The bodies are trusting each other but the minds are still stuck in the habits of a lifetime. I really liked your take on how Bobby's constant nerves made Marie's nerves a hundred times worse. It became a self-fulfilling prophesy with those two. Thank goodness she found someone infinitely better for her >:D
Author's Response: Ugh, I keep hoping this damn chest cold is on its way out, but I'm on week 3 and it's hanging around. Bleargh. But reviews cheer me up tremendously! ;-) Yes, you're so right about these two. They both know to trust each other implicitly, and yet their insecurities are lurking so close to the surface. And yes, we can all send up a big cheer that Rogue and Bobby didn't work out. Seriously, is there a single Bobby/Rogue fanfic? What would they even be -- Robby? Bogue? :-)

I failed to see the weird. However, I did catch the part where this is my favorite chapter so far! I have often thought of, and enjoyed reading the few fics that suggest that Wolverine's claws are an erogenous zone. How hot is that? And what Marie said to him about them, that totally sums it up. Hes ashamed of them, but we love him for them. 11 stars for you on this one. Now excuse me while I re-read that chapter a few dozen times. ;)
