i'm curious to see how jean and logan respond to each other. i hope he isn't all into her, actually it'd be kinda funny if she were obviously into him and him not so much into her. sorry, i have jean issues. great chapter, can't wait for more!

It was intriguing how you painted Xavier's vulnerability, his near-willingness to let it all end for himself. A nice piece of character exploration! Also the various reactions to Xavier's reading of Logan's mind were well executed.
Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it. I wasn't sure about shifting to Xavier's point of view all of a sudden since so far we've only seen the POV of Logan or Marie. Glad it worked.
