I really really like this story, its in my Top3 or rogan fics (and Ive read hundreds) and wanted to know if you're gonna update it again. I hope you will because it would be a shame for such a nice written story with a wonderful plot to be left unfinished. I hope you still plan on writting it if not pls let us know but I still have hope that you will! :)

Hi there,
I'm sure you get a lot of these now a days, with your last update being long ago, but I do hope you haven't given up on this.
For once I have finally seen an author take a completly different slant on the characters need for one another as Im sure you've already have been pointed out by your many, many reviewers.
I love your style, the writing, the language- pretty much everything and so to make this list far shorter Ill tell you the ONE thing Im not really "happy" with. In your later chapers you have Logan call Marie "Little one" about 4 times too much for my personal taste. And I am being completly honest here when I say that is the one and only fault I have found in this story.
I have read and re-read this story more times than I can begin to think to count and everytime still find myself in love with everything that happens, never tiring of this story.
I've put off writing a review to this story for at least a month now due to my view that my review would be a little bit of a generic "omg i love this update plz thx" and I feel that it would have been slightly insulting to your wonderful work so far.
However I do leave this comment as I would really love to see an update. As a rule I NEVER read any stories that have no been marked complete- not even reading the summary in case I find i want to read it- due to the fact so many writers abandon their works half way through- leaving me feeling hurt and unsatified.
I can easily understand that there are indeed MANY MANY circumstances to why such things happen and am never complaining about it- but only wishing to save my own frustration.
However- your story slipped through that net. It called to me in a way I would be knocking on your door right now just to hear the ending I am that in love with it. The characterisation, the plot- EVERYTHING makes me yearn for more and still give me an inkling of hope that you will continue on with this MASTERPIECE of fanfiction.
I sincerly hope I havent offended or upset you, or anyother reviews/readers who stumble upon this and If I have it was not intentional.
Thank you for your time in reading this review and I would love even a word or two to say you have discontinued (which I pray it hasnt) or if you do plan to continue.
Indeed if you have decided to discontinue I would like to say that reading your work has been a great pleasure and I hope that everything with you is well.

Author's Response: Partner - First, thank you for your review/note. I am always appreciative of any kind of constructive feedback. Yours and others reviewing after I had been away for so long are part of why I got myself together and posted the next chapter. So thank you for that specifically. rnI do plan on finishing this story. The outline is largely complete. I don't write in order so actually I have a number of scenes that won't happen until much later finished and ready to go. I will finish this story, absolutely.rnI really appreciate your willingness to say something about "little one". I had gotten that feedback from one other person and am glad to know for sure hers wasn't an isolated feeling. I have made some adjustments (taken a few out in already posted chapters) and addressed the issue as a whole in chapter 7. I will be interested to see what your impression of that part of the next chapter is. rnI am TRILLED my story slipped through your no WIP net. I actually have something similar. I will finish this story. The outline is largely completed, I know all of the major plot points, and I have bits written throughout the entire story. It has really been about time and seeing my writing as ‘not a priority’. Just found this story and its prequel. I first thought this turns into a only sex fic, but then you began to introduce the pasts of the characters and their traumatas and emotions and that gave the story a twist and somehow plot.
I wonder how old Marie is. You mentioned Logan lost his memory 12 years ago, so Marie should be 14.
I like that Logan wants her to built up her self esteem and noticed how careful he has to be with what he does or says, since she does exactly what he wants (I saw that with the cold shower coming).
He wants to rule every aspect of her, what makes this all rather dark, but still he wants that she is fine (even looking out for her wight). I just wonder that he doesn't seem to care about protecting her from himself - they had a lot of sex and never used a condom. And considering her condition he had picked her up and that she was a virgin (in Anything Marie said 'please don't come in me'), I don't think she was taking the pill.
I wonder how both of them would react if their doings would have consequences. What would a pregnancy do to their slowly building trust and affection?

Author's Response: Desy - Thanks so much for the review. I didn't start to write a fic with as much sex in it as this one has in it but I did want to write a story that the sex continued along with the plot. I hope I am achieving that.rnIn Kristine's notes for 'Anything' she calls Marie 16ish. I have conitnued with that idea. Although I am going to pick at that a little bit in future chapters. I hadn't ever invisioned Marie being 14. I am not sure what Logan's memory has to do with Marie's age (although if you know of a reason they should be linked, please let me know!)rnThere are certainly consequences coming for both Marie and Logan. I would agree with you that she is concerned about pregnancy based on the line from 'Anything'. Both she and Logan have made assumptions about things like pregnancy but have yet to voice those assumptions. Don't worry both the assumptions and consequences are coming.

This story shows another possible way of what could have happened without going off character. I mean, it’s Logan, he’s not an average “hero” he’s crossing the line between good and evil all the time. He’s got honor but he’s also a man with animal instincts, and after taking so much bullshit I totally buy that he decided to act that way with Marie, claiming her as his own. So, I personally like the fact this is not like the 98% of stories out there showing a caring perfect Logan but show us something else.
Ok about this chapter…I loved it!!! You write soooo well you make of this a masterpiece. I truly like the dynamic between them, they are starting to feel at ease with each other (under Logan’s strict rules, of course) and it amuses me how Marie is agreeing with everything Logan says. I loved when she was scared that something could happen to him in the fight circuit, that was cute. I also like that he treats her in a sweet way but at the same time he’s harsh and pretty much a prick; “And darlin, I am going to fuck you as many ways as I want, however many times as I want. And you, my sweet tasty girl, are going to come as many times as I let you.” I would be scared to death if a guy like that said that to me lol, but the fact Marie enjoys their sexual encounters even after that, and also asks about that statement makes their relationship more complex and exiting. She really needs Logan and she’s willing to please him in exchange for his affection and protection and now it seems she’s kinda falling for him, the whole concept is great!
Oh I must make a mention to the smut part, simply HOT! You describe everything so well with a perfect pacing, superb!

First alesia, i would like to commend on your superb writing skills; you have a very compelling way of portraying the dynamics of both characters and in an engaging way too. that is truly amazing given the fact that I've been throwing a fit coz logan is treating rogue like someone who does not have sense or an idiot. Having said that, i think logan is in for a rude awakening. why?
1. lets not forget that rogue is one of the few most powerful mutants who is capable of killing logan. so should she fill that there is no need for logan's "protection", she has the power but figuratively and literally to just walk away. The way i see it, rogue is the one who is using logan rather than him her. He may be deluding himself that he is the one who is dominating but i think is/has started seeing that the is a spark there (we all know that a spark in a room full of gas is all u need to create an explosion). i just saying that rogue seems like she is just bidding her time to heal from her traumatic experience in the lab bcoz just think of it; psychological we are all programmed to survival and right now given rogues situation were she has no alternative, she is been smart to stick with someone capable of satisfying her basic needs (food, safety, shelter and sex) plus she doesn't necessarily need to do much in return (symbiotic).
2. Given the state of her powers, rogue has felt incomplete coz of her inability to touch. Now she can, she is using it to her satisfaction. Rogue is quite a good judge of character and perceptive that’s why I think one of the minor reasons she consented to this idea of being owned by logan not to mention her slight attraction to him.
3. logan is a self assured dick who things just bcoz he heals and has enhanced senses that he can intermediate and impose his will on every/anyone and they conform to him. I don’t think so. I'm sure he will come to realize that rogue is called 'rogue' for a reason. I just get the feeling that she is purposely agreeing to certain things (rules can be bent and twisted just like in chapter 4 'bout the shower). I feel this is also away to stay on his good side and keep in on a kind of leash.
Last but not least she has not told him her powers yet right? I have a feeling its bcoz she has a suspicion that he is with holding information from her and she he ask she would likely tell him only one aspect of her powers (personality and mutation absorption) without mentioning the memories, thoughts, emotions and life aspect bcoz she would still want to have something at her disposal so as to not be caught unawares by anyone including logan. All in all, in my opinion, rogue is the PASSIVE Manipulator while logan just having Alpha male complex. (LOL)
Author's Response: Natsuki - WOW!! What wonderful feedback. You raise some hugely interesting questions and theories. I love it when both reading and reviewing spawn additional theories and ideas. I went back and looked at "Anything", which is what starts this story. I am going to have to think about how much Marie really told Logan about her mutation. It is certainly an intreguing idea. At this point I am not sure Marie knows that she has the ability and inner strength to be a Rogue.

WOWW!!!!! So THRILLED to see this updated! Lots of heavy thinking on Logan's part here, glad to see that, he had some serious f-ups to get thru and figure out. I think he's on the right track now.

Author's Response: Ct - I am glad to hear you see Logan as back on track, he does do some major decisioning here. We have more decisions coming but I am glad I was able to convey the subtle changes occuring in him. One of the primary things I promised myself with this story is that the conection between these two, as people, wouldn't be instant, that it would have to grow and be nutured, so I am really glad you saw the beginnings of that, cause I tried to drop the seeds in this chapter.
