Holy. Crap. That was so powerful - poor. poor Marie!!!! This chapter is my favourite so far (but only barely, the others previous are right up there.) Such a beautiful job conveying what Logan was feeling, what Marie was feeling...Bravo, bravo, bravo.
Secretly, he feared the desperately wounded man would whimper, whine and beg her to tell him it all wasn’t true and that she really loved him
:( So powerfully honest - my heart just broke for him here. I. Hate. Jean.
PS - love the scene with Beast and Jubilee :)
Author's Response: I am glad you like the Jubliee and Hank bit, they are a couple I hadn't thought about until I started reading fandom and now they are one of my favorites. And don't worry I have never had any use for Jean so we have more Jean bashing to come.

AHHHHHHHHHHHH! my reaction when I saw that this story was updated. I read this a while ago and the premise kept floating around in my head for a while. Hard one to let go (I wonder why, wink wink). Anyway, I liked the exposition in this chapter. While just about everyone here would sell their souls for Rogan smutty goodness (sounds like a candy filling of some sort) it was important to see into the dynamic of their relationship that doesn't involve sexin'. Especially true with Marie's past. I'm rambling: in conclusion I love this story and I love that you're back!
Author's Response: Sahara - I had meant to respond to your review earlier. Thank you for the wonderful feedback. Chapter 5 is up and there is a bit about Logan's past in this one and...well...I have to say it...SEX!! :)

Oh yes...MAJOR Jean issues...she deserves whatever he does to her in later chapters.
And, YES, a MAJOR "f" up with Marie, lots of apologizing and making up ahead...Dom/sub issues all aside, he NEEDS to make this right, PERIOD!
Author's Response: CT_Xfan - I agree that Logan has to make things right but he isn't quite sure what 'right' is or how to get there. Basically 'right' might have to bite Logan in the ass before he gets it. :) Hang in there and let me know if you think he makes any progress in chapter 5. Thanks for the review.

This story is so great. Just when I start Hating Logan for being a fucking douche-bag he does shit to basically negate his douche-factor. And I feel so sorry for Marie... oh lord.

Wow, I'm glad you're back. I'm glad Logan saw what game Jean was playing with him and relaized exactly how much influence he has with Marie. Both good and bad.
I hope he'll be more considerate now that he doesn't have to worry about steeling himself against Jean. That ship has sailed, and sunk spectacularly, like the Titanic.;)
Can't wait to see how his homecoming will go. But preferably after he and Marie are a tight unit. He may be aware of the mind-fuckery Jean engages in, but Marie is not prepared for it.
Thanks for the new chapter. Hope we'll see another one soon!

More Please! I was so happy to check this site and see that you had updated! My computer is down so I've been without my regular Rogan fix for days! It was almost worth it to be able to finally get more of your terrific story!

As good as this story is I would very much like for Logan to fall for her, heart and soul ( I think you have the body part covered). But I don't think it's in the near future. So I'll just keep reading this great story of yours.
Author's Response: Thank you for your feedback, I too would like to see them fall for each other, but they have a bit of work to do to get there. Latch on to the fact I hate to read angst and don't know that I could ever write it, so I believe you will get your wish but it may take some doing.
