I am a HUGE Wolverine/Rogue fan, in case anyone could guess by what site we're on, and I have lurked around wolverineandrogue.com for years now. I finally decided to start REVIEWING the stories I read, but we'll see if I actually end up writing any. X3 I am notorious for starting fics and not being able to finish them.

That ending made me all sappy. It just had an "awwww" factor to it that I couldn't repress. ^_^ Very nicely done. I quite enjoyed this, from Remy's support straight to their little cuddle session. (XD Although if the girls had come back early I would have slapped them silly!!)

How would the story have changed if Rogue decided not to take the cure?

I LOVE this chapter. We all know Rogue didn't ACTUALLY take the Cure (and I wish that had chosen that ending in the movie, instead of just making it a deleted scene. XP That choice was crap.) and your explanation of it is fabulous. I loved her sudden realization of "What the hell am I doing? You leave that poor little boy alone!"

Even if we never find out if the little boy's mother and Pete take her advice and go to the Institute, I love this chapter. I know you said to review, well there you have it. Fantastic chapter, it immediately captured my interest. I love the ending. Her repeating Logan's words almost made me whimper with some confusing jumble of joy and sadness. XD And pride. Excellent work.

I know I didn't reply to the other chapters, but I came back to this one, because this is another chapter I really, really enjoyed. The Rogue/Jean/Phoenix interaction was really good, and aside from a few random spots where I wanted to reword repetive spots in sentences (I'm an English major, I just do it unconsciously. X3;; Sorry.) I thought it carried the plot nicely, and gave Jean her due, and Rogue hers. I can't imagine what it would be like to absorb that much raw power and fury from the Phoenix. The nod to the Rogues of other AUs was a nice touch. ^_^ Made me happy to have her cartoon form mentioned, and some of the other characters, although I would've liked to see X-men Evo mixed in there too. XD Teen Rogue seeing a COMPLETELY different version of teen Rogue. Lol The thought alone is tempting me to do some kind of strange crossover fic.

Long story short: really liked this chapter. I thought the telepathic interaction was spot on, and that you let Jean end it instead of Rogue just killing her off gave the chapter a nice twist instead of just rushing through it.

I have to say: I am so glad you saved John. I love him. *Laughs* That ending was great, and a very Pyro thing for him to do. In my post-X3 fic, I had to find a way to save him, since they don't really address it in the movie, and Bobby and Kitty are busy getting Jimmy off of the island.

I wish I had reviewed this story when I started reading it, but I was reading at work, didn't have an account, and the next day the archives were down, so, no reviews. XP At that point, you only had up to chapter 7 or so, though. XD So I've been away for a bit. I'm loving that this is completed now, though, and that I can finally tell you how much I'm enjoying this.

Can't wait to see what Rogue wants to do at Alkali Lake next chapter!

Ooh, Scott's back! Yay! Nice touch. Although I'm curious to see if you work Charles's body-snatching into this (I hope you saw that scene after the credits so you can work it in! XD). It'd be interesting. Neeext chaptaaa! Bye, Jean! We'll miss you!

AWWWWWWWW! No, you're absoltuely right, she needed a good cry. Yay! And you ARE working it in! Teeheeee! Nice little segment at the beginning, giving us a look at Rogue's past and her relationship in-fic with Xavier.

I wonder what Logan's up to... He sure as hell had better not be runnin' from her again! Poor Scott...

Wanted to say I appreciate you using her actual accent in the story. I always try to, because I feel that's a big part of her character. ^_^ Nice job with it.

Poor Joe! T_T That's terrible... I thought he was going to end up dying, or getting killed or something. Poor man. Thank goodness Wolverine managed to get there in time to speak to him one last time. And it was nice for Joe to have gotten some company before he died. Sad chapter, but a good one. A girl named "Marie..." Coincidence? I think not...

*Laughing* I love Logan! He's such a sweetheart. "I miss Magneto." I love all the little details he knows, that's so cute. ^___^ You're right; Scott might have died all over again if Logan had told him her real name! ^_^ He's the only one who can honestly know it. I can see him shouting it in a panic, and everyone goes, "Marie?!" and then drops dead instantly. Nice going, Wolverine. Lol I like the way you paint Scott; I'm too used to him being a jerk and stick in the mud. This is a nice change.

Author's Response: Thanks. I always preferred a more laid-back Scott myself. And I\'m glad you\'re enjoying it and really glad that you reviewed! :)
