I loved this chapter. It was interesting to see Kitty so intemidated by Rogue. Loved that.

I also loved the scene where Rogue told Logan that she wanted to get close to him. Very intense! Very hot.

And the whole, “Frankly, I think that look is pretty appealing,” statement was perfect. :D

For some strange reason everytime I read your Rogue, I tend to picture Angelina Jolie. The way you write Rogue, it just seems to fit. Ms. Jolie always plays a very strong female lead who takes no crap....yeah it's crazy I know...just thought I'd share that.

Anyway, I loved this chapter. More please. Soon?! Real life permitting of course.

Author's Response: Thank you; although I have to admit, I never pictured Angelina Jolie. Then again, I kind of consider Jolie\'s looks to be \'too perfect\', as it were, which is a quality I find difficult to explain to people. I picture my Rogue much leaner, almost wiry, and perhaps a bit more like Clarice Starling, from the original \"Silence of the Lambs\" movie, albeit with more feline quality about the lines of her nose.

I'm curious as to when Logan will come into play. Soon? I he one of the reasons behind Jean and Scott calling it quits?

You should be warned - I have massive Jean issues and do not like her. At all. Not even a little bit. :D

Author's Response: Thank you! Well, Logan will come in soon, but I\'m not sure when. It will eventually be L/R. Of course it will be L/R! I can\'t picture her with anyone else! Can\'t stand Jean, either. But, no, Logan will have nothing to do with it just because the thought of L/J anything makes me sick!!!!

Logan's got to come to his scenses soon right. He'll see that R and S are only friends and that Jean's the real villian of the piece, right?

Author's Response: Wow!!!! I knew some people weren\'t going to be too happy when I mentioned the whole J/L thing, but, wow. First, I take no offense at all to the whole \"yankee\" thing. I\'m from Southern Nevada, myself, so I\'m not even sure if that pertains to me. Would it??? ANYWAY. I know, I know. It makes me sick to just even think about it. I\'m probably going to be losing my lunch the entire time I am trying to write it, but I think it will set up an intresting twist to the whole thing if I can get it right. It\'s still in the works, though. Who knows, I might end up scrapping the whole thing if I\'m not happy with it. Thank\'s so much for the feed back on this chapter, though. I wasn\'t sure about it, but I want to get this story moving as quickly as possible.

This was the best chapter yet. You had me laughing so hard that I have tears in my eyes and my family is looking at me funny. Bravo. I can't wait to read the next chapter. There is no way you can top this one.

I love your story so far. Very original. :D Things were going so good for Rogue in this chapter and then...WHAM!

Can't poor Rogue catch a break?! It's heart breaking really, how screwed up things are for her in this fic. I can't deny that it makes for a good read though. But still, I'm a happily ever kind of girl...hint, hint.

I've always been a huge fan of the underdog, so I'm hoping that things are going to get better for Rogue soon in this fic. They will, right?

Oh, and don't be ashamed about having Jean issues. I've got some pretty major Jean issues myself! Comic Books, cartoons or movies - just never liked her. Not at all.

Rogue and Wolvie though are two of my all-time favorite characters. SO please hurry up get them together! I'm begging you. :D

Author's Response: Thank you sooo much for the great review!! I\'m glad you are enjoying the story. I hate to be so hard on Rogue but it will make it worth it in the end. I am also a happily ever after girl, but Logan\'s gotta get his act together and it\'s going to be hard after what he just did. As for Jean....I hated the witch the first time she walked into Xavier\'s office in X-men 1! As for Rogue and Wolverine...they are such a great fit. I think my husband gets tired of me when I go on one of my rants about how perfect they are together..LOL! I just don\'t get why the writers of the X-Men movies don\'t see what we see! I guess we are smarter!

God I love that song. Since I saw the first X-Men movie, I've thought of it as being Rogue and Logan's song. :D

I'm a sucker for a happy ending. Loved this one. That last paragraph was fantatic. Very moving.

Can I just say that I'm really loving this story. It's so wonderfuly original and unpredictable! Bravo. I love that Marie is heartbroken at being used and takenadvantage of and discarded by Logan, but strong enough to do what she has to do to get by. Nicely played.

Also - I love the song you mentioned at the beginning of this chapter. Fallen is one of my favs. Good choice on your part. It really fits into the mood of this story and especially this chapter.

Can I just say that I'm really loving Remy for being so concerned about Rogue in this chapter. A few chapters ago you made it seem like Logan forced Rogue to absorb the Red Menace, so it's his own fault. Is he feeling a little guilty now and wondering if maybe he's sort of doomed Rogue to repeat Jean's meltdown?

Something else I've been wondering...if Rogue was drunk when she slept with Logan, was it truely her in control or was Jean. Betcha Logan is now wondering the same thing. Hate to say it, but right now I'm kinda liking Remy just a smidge more. I know, I know, I can't believe I said that either. :D

Loving your story. Great job. Can't wait to read more!!
