Author's Response: Well, to be fair, the professor did say \'by any means necessary.\' It occurred to me after I wrote this that there must be some sort of code among telepaths about not poking around in someone\'s head uninvited, or else no one thoughts would safe from \'inquiring minds\'. Jean used the professor\'s words to justify the unauthorized \'poking\', at first, but then I think she was just enjoying pissing him off.
