Too sad, but I guess the ending made up for it somehow, but only a little. The last lines were just perfect.

Geez, what a story, so fuckin' brutal in parts, and yet she's slowly starting to work past the craziness with Logan at least. Maybe that's Marie working her way through at last, but then there is Carol, allowing Logan to know her name at the end was definitely a big step.
Logan's conflicting feelings about this girl, in appearance at least everything he has ever wanted, but now he's finding out things, and experiencing feelings for 'this woman', he never thought he could. Phew, fucked up craziness all round!
A great chapter, lookin' forward to more.

Great story loved this line, 'Logan soon found they weren't interrupted by anyone down there and there was always a spin cycle every twenty minutes.

Short but right to the point, Marie's need and Logan's general ignorance of it all, achy, angsty and great to read.
