Okay, the UST is killing me even more from Logan's point of view! I am going straight on to the next chapter!

Please tell me there is a follow-up to this story....PLEASE!!!!!

I have loved this fic since the first time I read it (on another site) and it is still so fabulous. I would be completely thrilled if there were to ever be some sort of sequel.....

I really hope you are planning a sequel and/or continuation of this story. It is brilliant. Heartbreaking, but brilliant.

Ooooh, I am hoping that Logan is the "eligible bachelor"....or actually, I will be quite disappointed! Unless, he storms in and breaks the date up....hmm. Anyway, really looking forward to the next chapter.

All I have to say is that if only the movie version had been closer to your version, I would have been one happy camper indeed! As it was, like you, I felt cheated and furious at the rubbish that was "X3". Horrible. I try to block it entirely from my memory....

I have not been on here in forever and it has been even longer since I have left a review (very naughty of me, I know). In fact it had been so long I forgot my username and password. However, I had to get on, have my info resent to me so that I could log on to leave a review for this fic.
Holy Crap. Yeah. That's right. That is how much I am loving reading this. I adore your characterization of Rogue. She is badass, vulnerable, sassy, sexy. Such a paradoxal package, really. The tension between Rogue and Logan is palpable...and it is hot! Also, I am seriously enjoying the whole backstory with Rogue and Remy as well (and the jealous tendencies from Logan). When he said to Bobby about picking "vanilla" over Rogue, I laughed out loud. He may be thief but he's not stupid!
I am looking forward to an update VERY soon!

I\'m glad you\'re enjoying the story and the direction of the characters. I definitely wanted to write a story with a more self-aware Rogue and switch up her and Logan. Logan in this story is partly based on his direction in X3 even though I found the characterization of a lot of characters in that movie was terrible and off, I figured trying a story where he acknowledges that and tries to wake up. And I always wanted someone to call Bobby on the whole Kitty thing, vanilla seemed like the best description in comparison to Rogue. :)

Finally Rogue is opening up to Logan a bit in this chapter! I feel like we are starting to get somewhere with these two (although I still wouldn't mind a bit of Remy thrown in again! LOL).

Can't say that I am surprised that Mystique pulled this over on Rogue. I am very pleased though that Rogue told her where to shove it! Now, back to Logan??? Pretty please!

Author's Response: Yeah I think a little bit of Mystique was surprised, it wasn\'t her real intent in pursuing the diaries but you know when opportunities present themselves she\'s not one to shy away from plans changing especially for personal gain. Logan, you say? I dunno...who knows where hes gone off too...;)

He did want to kiss her, I know it!! Hehe. This short chappie did my fangirl heart good.

Those X-Men cartoons are still a guilty pleasure of mine! (apart from the ones with Jean Grey and Logan acting all angsty over her. Ugh!)

Author's Response: i love those cartoons. Even almost 20 years ago I adored Wolverine and Rogue the best (gambit was a close second, followed by Jubes and Hank). I still occasionally watch the show now but, as you said, I can also admit that I tend to screen the episodes. If it\'s heavily Logan/Jean laden I avoid it altogether. Sorry, but my time in this life is too precious than to fill it watching those two angst all over each other. >:(

LMAO! "Pied Piper and his peter-power"!! Oh my word, I think this was my most chuckle-filled chapter read so far. Excellent.
