Woooooh very interesting. I like that whole cyclical concept and everything, though a little creepy, seems to be turning out well.
And then there's that cryptic little comment..."for now she’d let them have their love, their future, and their life. When they were needed she’d call them back like she called all her children before them."
For Now...*shudder* that can't be good lol.

Very interesting. I like the pervasive darkness and its contrast with the light. I know it was meant to be a one-shot sort of deal, but this just begs a follow-up story explaining exactly what you explained in the chapter notes. No one ever thinks of Marie as dark after what Magneto did to her; it's an interesting take on her experience. I'd read it. :)
