I've read this many, many times and still can't come up with anything more intelligent to say about it other than "wow". This is just a very well written slice of Mutant High life, peppered nicely with the usual antagonisms between Logan and Scott that we're all used to; with Logan coming out on top as usual (having Marie pissed at him, not withstanding!!)

Ok, she wants to make him suffer and he's cool with it. He always gets what he hunts and now he's gonna hunt Marie....SO WHERE'S THE NEXT STORY??? You know the one titled...oh I don't know...Preyed Upon or something similiar.

You can't just leave it here!! It's like...like...like when the damn VCR malfunctions and it stops recording with 10 minutes left in the program!! We gotta know how it ends!!

Ok, so I see we've been here before...I think 10 years is long enough for us to suffer...we need the next installment!!!

Oh, Bailey....Bailey, Bailey, Bailey......what is this? While I completely see and understand the conniving, underhanded, sick obsession that Mystique would have with Logan (just like it's explained in the fic); I'm really taken aback by the dark turn you made in L&M's relationship.

Of course it would be a shock, standing there in your own doorway watching yourself get f*cked, then decapitated. And it would obviously take some severe, long term therapy to over come...but shouldn't she understand Logan's animal side just a little bit?? At least enough that would allow their relationship to survive? Probably not move any further than where they were before Mystique's little act, of course not.

I like the fic, don't get me wrong. You really nailed the Wolverine character. But somehow I don't think you gave Marie/Rogue enough credit for what her mutation allows her to take from those she touches. Especially someone like Logan who can actually survive her touch.

Very nicely done...a little tinge of sadness; but as you said...it makes them both so happy and so sad, as love will to us all.

Who was it that said "I like my fics like I like my men; short, dark, and intense"? Best way to describe this littly ditty, definitely!!!
