The Wolverine & Rogue Fanfiction Archive
Barely Legal Since 2000
W/R-L/M fanfic addict! Love to read it, write it only when the muses/bunnies get too strong or too rabid. Would love to beta; am a self proclaimed grammar guardian! Pet peeve is getting sidetracked in a great story by poor grammar or too many typos.
Wife, Mom, author, motorcycle mama, wine maker, Titanic buff, genealogist, witch; wrap it all up - you get, me!
Me thinks there IS something wicked going on there at Dark's Pandemonium Carnival!
Was that Storm's talisman giving Jubilee a hand? Good thing she kept the feather, it grounds her to the event, proves to her that it was real. Hopefully it will help her talk about it soon.
Whoooaaa......creepy doesn't even BEGIN to describe.....
I'm so entirely entrenched in your story, Joanne...you're an amazing story teller...can't wait for the next chapter!
Please, oh PLEASE, you're not going to let the beast win, are you, Jo?
WONDERFUL!! All encompassing, enveloping...insidious even! I was so totally ensconced by this story I almost didn't want it to end. The idea of the balance, "the corruption that eats the fruit to fertilise the soil"....the age old fight between good and evil, brought almost down to the celluar level...in each of us. Amazingly done, Joanne, going into my favorites for sure!
The absolutely soul wrenching depths of the fact that she's willing to let them revile her for taking the cure in order to be treated that much more normally. Yee gads!!
So beautiful yet so sad. Nice ending, the heartbeat that's not her own, nicely done!
This was a great story and a wonderful example of doing the wrong thing for all the right reasons. And I agree with the Professor, he's getting soft in his old age!
"this was something that would fit perfectly at the mansion – insanity in the form of long distance courtship and marriage!"
Just another layer of said insanity, it most certainly WOULD fit in just fine!! Great little behind the scene/slice of life piece!
Such a beautifully written story with a totally logical conclusion for the way Marie's mutation connects to someone. It's just one more layer, makes perfect sense to me.
Lovely. Angst-filled, yes, for most of the story, but it cleans up nicely and leaves me with a warm, fuzzy feeling inside!
GREAT beginning!! Now lets continue on with the next step of their journey!
Would love to be a fly on the wall for that semester of Phys-ed!! Nicely written, great story! Love the happy ending!
Homo Sapiens/Homo Superior doesn't seem to matter much, both have the same downfall - emotions. All those horridly infuriating blips of careening thoughts, ideas, assumptions...all the stuff that makes being who and what we are such a royal PIA!!
Great job, Shadow, once again of really grabbing the reader by the throat and forcing us, along with the characters, to see what's behind the mask, under the facade, beyond the front we put up.
I could sit all day (and come to think of it, I may have on an occasion or two), and share NC-17 rated daydreams with our favorite feral!!
Nicely done, Shadowlady, you've definitely captured the more animalistic side of our favorite couple! Well done, very well done!
Shadow? Why didja have to go and ruin a perfectly beautiful story and bring the tight asses in at the end??? I know Logan and Marie had to return to the Mansion eventually, but why the hell did you have to do it that way?
Where's the Prof; and his ever intelligent insight on what goes on between Logan & Marie? Hell, Xavier is the only one that can reign in Mr. & Mrs. Pole-up-their-butts.....(whiney, patronizing, little tight-assed voice) "Oh Rogue, you're just too young, you just don't understand..."
Oh yeah? Well try this on for understanding, bitch!! The man I love was kidnapped, abused, brain washed and treated just slightly better than last week's refrigerator left-overs. Even the wonderful people here who managed to save him from the assholes that took him had no idea how to help him, but they had brains enough to know that I could!! So take your pity-soaked, condescending, bloody attitude and shove it where the sun don’t shine; ‘cause I ain’t leaving without him and he’s going nowhere without me!!
Sorry, guess I digressed there for sec...I just can't stand that pompous, arrogant, know-it-all attitude from Jean and Scott...it just drives me up a friggin' wall!!! But a great story, Scott and Jean not-withstanding.
~“You want me — open the door.”~
DAMN!!! if it was only that easy!!
Yeah! The old 'take the bull by the horns' attitude works every time!! Imagine! The Wolverine, groaning 'oh man!' and shaking his head like a scolded 6 year old!! Ha! Ha! THAT is a mental picture!!
Author's Response: I still chuckle over it and I wrote it. Somehow, I just got tired of Rogue being a wimp and waiting around for him to make the first move. Logan may be an asshole, but he is an honorable one! Thanks for the feedback.\r\n
Wonderfully written piece!! Nicely paced, great hand wringing tension, and of course fantastic smut coupled with Scott and Jean bashing!
"Jiminy Cricket had Pinocchio. I ended up with ShitForBrains.**
Need to add this to my personal list of 'Every damn time...' because that line always makes me bust out laughing!! Men can be so dumb sometimes, do ya think maybe his conscious is female?? After all, it noticed the creak of leather!
Not hate....but the simple, very human emotion, of fear.
WHOA!!! First time (I think) that the bond between Logan and Marie has take this sort of turn. Nice idea, interesting setting for it all to go down. Would like to see more of this story line....how does the hunt go??
Rogue/Marie *purring* is always a good thing!
Wonderful lil piece o'fluff. My congrats Ami.
WHOA!!!!! Leave it to Stephen King (yes, THAT Stephen King) to lead us into this sort of fic. Horrific and sad, yet with a strange string of truth runs thru it for this day and age...which in itself is ALSO horrific and sad. Great job, Amy, on what HAD to have been a helluva story to write.
