The Wolverine & Rogue Fanfiction Archive
Barely Legal Since 2000
W/R-L/M fanfic addict! Love to read it, write it only when the muses/bunnies get too strong or too rabid. Would love to beta; am a self proclaimed grammar guardian! Pet peeve is getting sidetracked in a great story by poor grammar or too many typos.
Wife, Mom, author, motorcycle mama, wine maker, Titanic buff, genealogist, witch; wrap it all up - you get, me!
I am so loving this! But I am NOT a patient woman! I hope new stuff is coming SOON!! You had me with "Bite the Hand" and screaming about the injustice of open ended endings. (waving sign over head and chanting...) FINISH! FINISH! FINISH!
Author's Response: Chapter 2 is up...did you see? I promise I\'ll wrap it up soon. I\'ll wave my sign at the muse to get a move on it! :) Glad you are loving it though.
OOOooooooohhhhh, somebody is gonna pay here...I just have absolutly NO clue about who!!!
OMIGOSH!!! 10 years this has sat here?? This needs attention!! Please!?! You can't just leave us all hanging!
>stands in doorway, hubby's old fraternity paddle resting on shoulder<
I'm ready to give shadow witch some help if chapter 3 isn't up sooner than soon!! It's not nice to tease a wild animal (or a rabid W/R fan!!)
I simply LOVE this pair of stories! Wish you'd link them somehow, I always end up coming across them out of order!
So much passion and emotion, such a perfect pairing of their personalities. Great job!
(The Letter is the precedecessor this one)
OH! OH! OH! Loved it! LOVED! IT! Still woulda loved to see the looks on their faces at the inner convo about Scott's mouth; but this will work as a substitute! Definitely!
Author's Response: Glad you love it, it certainly shocked me. ^.^
I am a HUGE Titanic buff, and finding THIS story was like finding the last Snickers bar in the house when you're on a "it's that time" chocolate binge!!!
Wonderfully written with just the right amounts of X-men info, Rogan shippery goodness and historically accurate detail! A definite 10!! even with the sad ending.
If only we all could keep our loved ones with us in such a way...yes, there would still be tears, but somehow the sorrow, I don't think, would be quite as bad.
This was beyond beautiful, Adrian, Thank you for sharing it.
"his shirtless back a leonine column of taut muscle simmering with repressed violence".....just WOW!! One of any number of fantastic lines I could quote from this piece; a true work of word art!
Oh man!! Ai Kemi, were you, like, using a Ouigi board or something?? Because you were sooooo channeling Tall, Dark and Growly!! To a damn "T"! I loved it!
*heart thudding* Wow! Veerrrrrry nice! Definitely got to add this one to the Favs list!
Ya gotta tell me tho - what's with the tattoo? If it gets that reaction out of Logan, I want one too!!!
AHHHHHH!!!! Killer last line! (no pun intended!)
OH! But this BEGS for a sequel!! We've just got to know what happened!!
>"You had best figure out if you want me or not sugar, because, I'm going home with the winner."<
There is no better line, that immediately comes to mind, than this one for pure brute, sexual force in getting the Wolverine's attention!
Simply put....I loved it!
(But now, who're the Diamonds and who're the Spades, and who the heck is telling the darn story???)
AMAZING back story! Please add my vote for a sequel!!
TOO DANG FUNNY!!! Oh my....but nothing changes, does it?!?
I can totally see this exchange taking place, just like this, with all the logic of HIS reasoning alongside HER reasons. Nicely done, x, even if it took several takes to get here.
A very difficult consultation, to be sure. I actually feel sorry for Jean in this one.
Oooooooh!! You are evil!! I don't s'pose you'll fess up and tell us WHICH was the 'real world' here, would ya?? Nah, didn't think so. So the optimists get to think the straight type was heat induced halucinations and the italics were real; while the pessimists go with the straight type being real and the italics being drug induced halucinations. You are an evil author, xbedhead! But I'll let it slide only because your talent eclipses your evil-ness!!
Author's Response: First off, thank you for the wonderful review - I\'m glad you enjoyed the story so much.
As far as which world is real and which world isn\'t - it\'s all real, right up until the end. And THEN we find out that everything was taking place in her hallucination. The italicized parts actually happened and she was just remembering them in her dream.
With the way that it ended, a lot of people took it like it was supposed to be sort of humorous, which I can completely see because that\'s the way it reads. I had meant it to read, however, like the whole \'dream\' thing Marie was experiencing (which turns out to be the bulk of the entire story) was more like a premonition. She woke up in the real reality just as she had in the dream and got the same response. She knew what had happened in her mind and was afraid b/c she thought it would play out the same way. The way I have it written made a lot of people think she was screaming at the hair being gone. :P
Uh.....I mean,...well,... yeah...uh... Unh...wow! Just...whoa...{smacks self upside head-attempting to regain cortical function} DAMN!! I haven't had a knot in my stomache like that, waiting for the other shoe to drop; in, like, AGES!!! You can't know how stupid giggly/tummy flutterey HAPPY you made me when Mystique showed up with no mark on her shoulder!! I agree with September - you can't let smut talent like this languish!! You gotta write a "Logan found his bad little girl" sequel!! PLEEEEEEEEEEZE?!?
Author's Response: He\'ll find her, I\'m sure of it. So glad I could cause knots and tummy flutters!!!
This was so absolutely beautiful!! Well written, heart breaking, tummy tightening...then the wonderful 'ahhhh' of it all coming together in the end. Just gorgeous, Sky!
Brutal! But then, Wolverine knows what's his, Logan can't help or stop that. So glad he finally won out, even tho it took so long. Their combined skills and knowledge leaves me no doubt they'd find a santuary to comtinue the work to find a cure.
Ohhhhhh myyyyyyyyy.....the hawtness!!!
SOOOOO hoping he'd show up...thank you, Joanne!!
OOOooooooo!!! This is sounding goooooood!!! Does something wicked this way come??
