The Wolverine & Rogue Fanfiction Archive
Barely Legal Since 2000
Wonderful! Hot, sweet, intense...
This is a great story. Intense emotions, not prettied up for romance, just the gritty reality of sexual experience. Well done!
What a marvelous interview, and we've got a bit in common, not only X-Men-related stuff, but real-life stuff as well. I read every story mentioned in the interview, and loved them. Thank you for this sharing!
This story was sheer poetry from the beginning. Your descriptions are vivid, powerful, and the emo content is wrenching. Fanfic does not get to me emotionally, but this one did. DAMN!
Author's Response: It had a mind of it\'s own, this fic. Probably the hardest one I\'ve ever written. Thank you *hugs for the wonderful review*.
Well done! I like the way you sneak up on the fact that Rogue has grown old. I'd consider removing any reference to the ending from the introduction, and let the piece speak for itself in impact alone, 'cause a short story with a punch-to-the-gut ending like this is powerful. The clue dilutes it.
I love a twist at the end! This one's very twisty.
Author's Response: Why thank you! I\'m a big fan of a good twist too - this one was an experiment - to see if I could write one *g*
I think this was one of the earliest fanfics I read, and I remembered it because it's so damned good!
This is one of my all-time favorite stories, and I always enjoy stumbling across it again for a re-read. And the 'mree' line is always a winner. Clean, crisp, to the point... great writing!
This is abolustely hysterical! And I love the 'skunk bear' comment - not a lot of people know that's one of the folk names for a wolverine. YAY!
LOL! Fantastic closing line! Great story.
Raw, intense, achingly messed up. You've done it to us again, Ara!
Outstanding! I love nervous Logan, mysterious Logan, and got-it-bad-for-Marie-and-can't-tell-her Logan. Got them all in this one.
Yay! Just... yay! Beautiful piece you've written herre.
I haven't followed this story from the beginning - and now I may rethink that. I tend to avoid 'post-disaster'-style stories, but your writing quality on this one is changing my mind. Well done!
Oh, me likee!
This is just incredibly well-written. It's emotional and gripping, and addresses things that never occurred to me in the storyline. Love it!
I wrangled with myself whether I liked this story or not, but the deeper I read, the more I liked it. The early parts are shaky on whether it is or isn't rape, but as the characters develop and their stances are explored, it becomes more understandable. Rogue's almost as scary as Wolverine. Logan's the sanest one in the mix.
I read and possibly reviewed this story before, bt it bears repeating: this is marvelous!
AUGH! She really, really needs to shoot him and save Logan!
I loved this chapter: I totally did NOT see the Magneto/Torch thing coming; though you were just borrowing the setting for dramatic/ironic impact. Brilliant!
Powerful ending to a powerful story! Thank you for letting Rebecca clean her own emotional slate. Good job!
I love short, meaty stories, and this one rocks!
Don't care if it's short - it's potent! The way Logan fights off caring, fights off exposing his vulnerability... and then the - well, that line just climaxes the whole story. Birlliantly done!
Author's Response: Thank you! And sorry I\'m so slow in checking feedback ;)
I like the gritty detail in this - the road trip vibe. Enjoyable!
Author's Response: Thank you. This was one of my favorite stories to write.
Ah, you took the story right out of my head! I had thought about doing a song-fic to 'Long Black Veil,' and here it is! Well done.
This is some of the hottest smut ever. *sprawls on floor in a lust-heap*
Author's Response: oh I\'m so happy you think so! *beams with smut pride*
