Ow. "James" That could seriously hurt her. This story is very dark, love it! Question, does the songs at the end inspire the chapters or do you find songs to fit the chapter?
Author's Response: Tough question, kinda like the chicken and egg thing for me, which one came first, it can work either way, sometimes a line in a song can give me the perfect hook for a chapter. Other times I\'ll write a chapter and find a song in my collection to go with it.
Basically music is my life, and the kind of music I usually listen to fit in well with angsty Marie/Logan fics.

Yeah, this feels like it needs more, like its an openning to a bigger realization between the two. Either she finally accepts that he's not her firend or her hero, or he learns to lighten the hell up. But I love how real he is in this, he reacts to her skin the same way anyone else would, if slightly more intense from fear. But it makes me wonder why he plays along with her, even if it is gruf? Perhaps unconcsiously he knows its just is own paranoia and she doesn't deserve the backlas?
Author's Response: He has to play along. He doesn\'t want to get thrown out of Xavier\'s, and the last thing he wants is to let her in to how scared and vulnerable he actually is.

I have a question that just sort of popped into my head. And if it isn't even relevent to this fic at all I apologize. I see how he is scared of her from the 'stabbing through the chest' scene, because she took from him. But then why purposely heal her at the statue? He knew her power by then. Again, just wondering, feel free to tell me to hush and just read :)
Author's Response: That\'s something I have been thinking. He was scared at the statue, too, but there really was no other choice. That\'s my guess. Of course rest of the movies were kind of letdown after that, seeing that you do not give your life for total stranger you don\'t even care that much. This is kind of related to this fic. Quite a lot related. I got my idea for this when I was thinking about differencies in those two scenes (bedroom and the statue).
