The Wolverine & Rogue Fanfiction Archive
Barely Legal Since 2000
Ah, sweet wicked sugar this is. I like it very much, and the characters are done justice. Rogue's a bit of a tease, isn't she?
I bow down to you, oh master. ~bows~ You have managed to go from a scene of utter hotness seamlessly into pure amusement. Rogue's note is bloody priceless! "You have been officially mindfucked."
Much praise! ~bows again~ Much praise!
Author's Response: *bows* Thank you! *bows again* Thank you! I couldn\'t have done this without... Uh... *slaps Logie\'s fingers off from the keyboard* How many times do I have to tell you to keep your paws off from MY comp?!
I quite like this fic. Rogue's mutation is handled very creatively, and the lack of angst in the "Surprise! I like you and I'm interested" moments between Logan and Rogue in the midst of battle is refreshing, appealing, and more realistic than I had expected.
I've loved this story since I first read it on the old WRFA. The voice of the bartender is crafted with perfect realism and tantalizing attention, and the story he has to tell is just that: just like a real story you might hear from a good, worldly fightbar bartender.
This story is as classy as he thinks Rogue is. It feels good to read, and not just because it drips with liquid sexiness like condensation on the side of a beer glass.
And in the case of this same story from Logan's perspective, it's a shotglass full of whiskey that is described as "growing hair on your chest"––in a sexy, Logan way of course.
This story is unspeakably cool, with hints of Chuck Palahniuk (writer of the books 'Fight Club' and 'Choke', which have been graced with nifty cinematic forms) in the style of narration, a delightful touch of the surreal, and a distinctly unique and sexy plot. I've loved it since the first time I read it in the old archive and it shocked, slightly perturbed, and outright seduced me. We need more fanfiction like this, with this much outright creativity and style.
Nice story, but you took my title, lovey.
