Author's Response: I always thought those dog tags were such an integral part of Logan\'s lore, and I hated seeing them thrown away, even though the act served a very poignant and dramatic purpose in the second movie: Logan\'s freedom from Stryker..... but he\'ll never be free of it, so Rogue deserved the tags.
