Author's Response: I warned you. I rarely hand out warnings, when I do, they\'re there for a reason. At first I was going to let them live, but somehow that ending wasn\'t working. It felt wrong considering the tone of the rest of the fic. But I was thinking I could write an alternate version of this one later. Not sure about that.
She'd laugh and talk to him in a way that I knew she made him feel like the greatest person in the room, no matter who was around. That's when it hit me. She used to look at me like that!
