Traveling has been my life, so maybe that's why I can identify with Wolvie and Rogue so well. I was born in Tennessee, then my parents moved back to their hometown in West Virginia when I was less than a year old. We moved to Ohio when I was three, and we lived in eight different houses until I graduated from high school. After that, I joined the military, and so far I've been to Texas, Florida, Japan, and Alaska. Now we're back in Ohio. Interesting life I'm living. I have a wonderful husband and adorable daughter.
I was hooked by Wolverine and Rogue as a couple from the first movie, and I'm still a big fan, even if the movies haven't been exactly encouraging. I love to write fanfiction, and I'm an avid reader as well. I also love to make websites, so of course I have a Wolverine and Rogue website. Who doesn't?

You know, I really loved this. I wasn't expecting to, but I did. The ending actually threw me--I thought all along that it was about Jubilee helping Logan, I really did. Then WHAM! It's actually Logan & Marie helping Jubilee and Bobby get together! How cute! I love the list, too. It gives all the usual reasons for his resistance, but it's put forward in such a unique way that it doesn't even matter!
Complications arise when some of Rogue's college classmates unwittingly involve themselves in the day-to-day lives of the X-Men

It's good, although it threw me a bit when you changed tenses halfway through. I noticed that when you were in present tense you tended to go back to past every once in a while, too, as if you hadn't made up your mind what you wanted to do. (Was that enough of a critique?) All in all, though, a very interesting take. I liked your reasons for Logan lying. Yeah, they've been done before, but I think you gave them a fresh spin somehow. It's a little indescribable now, especially since I was reading this as a bedtime story (yeah, masochisitic, right?), but it's there.
“Superhero...Okay.” She tried to suppress the amusement in her voice, but found that she couldn’t.

Please. PleasePleasePlease...if you're still on here and writing, PLEASE keep going with this. It's fantastic, but I noticed you haven't updated it for a year, and I sincerely think you should. It is just a wonderful look at alternate possibilities, something totally unique. I'm begging here, PLEASE do more with this! I love this Rogue, I love Logan's reactions to her and the way that all the other characters aren't either way too nice or complete shits. PLEASE? Pretty please with a Logan covered in chocolate sauce on top?
Author's Response: Thank you very much, as your compliments do mean a lot to me. I\'m sorry to say that I\'m not quite in a position wherein I can write Rogue/Logan, these days. I admit that if I ever find myself again writing for this ship, this story would probably be it, and probably would be my finale, as it were. Unfortunately, I\'ve had a hell of a year since I stopped writing it, and my head is in a very, very different place than it was back then. Rest assured that I haven\'t forgotten about this story, though, as it\'s probably the most original work I\'ve got posted on this site and the truly bizarre directions it took with Rogue\'s character have made it my favorite Rogan fic of what I\'ve written.
Rogue goes to take the cure and is set up in the process. Coming out of it, she forms a new family containing old foes and new friends alike...

Hmmmm...I really hope that the fact that you haven't updated this since last December doesn't mean you never will. I just discovered it, and I am VERY curious as to what's going on! Getting interupted in the middle of the dramatic part isn't fair when there's no continuation!
During a mission, Rogue is turned into an infant by the Friends of Humanity. Guess who gets nanny duty until FoH can cough up the reversal to their “cure?” Shipper with a good dose of humor :) Also, set with some elements of comicverse and some elements of X3 (no Jean, but I kept Cyclops and Xavier)

Oh, I gotta see the costume! Please? Love this, btw, in an incredibly painful "BUT HE'S *MARIE'S*!" kind of way. Thought the whole thing with Dean was cute.
Author's Response: I\'ve read very few Rogan fics where they didn\'t end up together, and a few of those few were very well written and very gripping. It\'s not always a happy ending. I, however, love happy endings almost as much as I love a little vague confusion, so I went for the confusion. When the dust settled, everyone knew how everyone felt, and Logan \'thought\' he had life all sorted out and stablizied again. WRONG!
