Wow wonderful chapter! I think I just met my weekly recommend limit of sugar intake. Not that I follow said recommendation.

Enjoyed this very much loved the understanding that Marie offers Logan. Their connection with each other is very palpable. This reminds me of old war movies, the night before, where the wife is seeing her husband off to war . The love, the longing, the reluctance, just a wonderful piece over all, oh and um very hot.

Looking forward to seeing Logan's homecoming.

Very interesting start I'm intrigued right away, you manage to emphasis the difference from the usual world with several well placed sentences.

The state of the mansion, the absence of the professor, Scott, aging from stress, are great away to mix description and exposition.

The sense of desperation is very palpable, from the fact that kids comes with combat experience, to the overcrowded nature of mansion now.

So far Marie and Logan seems to be there usual self, physical attraction is there, excellent.

Loved the scene when she first saw his room, brings me back to the camper scene in the movie. Logan is going to be a gentleman and let Marie have the bed right?

Wonderful beginning to a new story looking forward to more.

Great chapter, addition of more background info on the world is great. And Wolverine giving one on one lessons? That's pretty big deal right? I don't think he would do that with just anyone.

Its great to see that Marie has such a read in Logan already, that she is pretty tuned in to his moods and habits.

The morning ritual scene was wonderful I like how she moved from "how embarrassing" to "you know what, I'm just gonna enjoy it."

A very touching conversation about Jean in near end, and the role reversal after.

There connecting more and more, can't wait to see where your taking this.

Author's Response: Heh, you weren\'t the only one with their mind in the gutter.

In this world they are more in survival mode and lessons haven\'t been going on. But Logan being Logan, someone under his care isn\'t going to remain helpless. :) Close quarters lead to people knowing one another far quicker than normal.

Again close quarters, why fight it. Or at least I figure that was where Rogue was at and since she was in tune with Logan she knows how to keep things moving forward instead of letting things go moody.

Awesome chapter! Nothing like imminent loss to clear up one's priorities.
The scene where Logan voluntarily offer his healing to Marie is just so well done. And the scene after where he teaches her how to manage his super sense and she focus on his heartbeat, sweetness overload.

Reticent Logan is the best Logan, their five word conversation express so much.
That was major shift in their relationship, looks like the both of them are on the same page now.

Great chapter, can't wait to see where they go from here.

Less is more, especially with Logan. Yes, they are on the same page but aren\'t ready to give in just yet.

They are finally together! I'm curious is there a particular reason why Logan is reluctant to take the next step? I usually see him as a proactive person, so I'm wandering if there is a deeper reason for holding back.
Wonderful to see Marie knows Logan well enough to give him a push where and when he needs it.
The name exchange is so sweet. It seem to me love making with Marie was as much a new experience for Logan as it was for Marie. Very nicely written.

Ending with breakfast in bed is just wonderful. Looking forward to more.

Yes, finally!  The Logan in my head didn\'t want to force the issue. He knew it would happen, but it wasn\'t her choice to share his room and so much of her life has come down to him telling her what to do and he doesn\'t want their relationship to be that way also.  I\'m afraid I didn\'t express that as well as I could have in the story. <br><br> Though I\'m glad to see that his feelings and sex with Marie being different did come through.<br><br> Thanks, hope I don\'t disappoint.

That was strange and interesting, can you please perhaps clear up the family tree a bit for me. This is what I got so far Victoria is Victor Creeds daughter but also Logan's sister. In the Movie verse Victor Creed is Logan's half brother, I going to assume that is not the case here. So Logan and Victoria share the same mother? Unless Victor is Logan's father also?

Great chapter, I'm glad you decide to not use the whole professor x mental surgery thing. I've never really like that particular aspect of Charles's powers. This is an issue between Marie and Logan. its something they need to sort out between themselves. To have the professor to just hand wave it away, would cheapen what they have and would leave them in a far worse spot.

I like your feral Logan, he can actually speak in coherent sentences! I love the feral part of Logan as much as anyone and I think your interpretation of him having thinking mind is great, and the better feral Logan.

Also loved the part with Marie's internal struggle and finally coming terms with some of the horrible things she experienced, and hopefully Logan gets some time with her in the next chapter.

Wow no better way to start than with a Sabretooth Vs Wolverine fight.You set up an interesting scenario, the school is destroy and victor was a good guy in the other world? is there other world lacking a wolverine like this one is lacking a Rogue?

Banter between Creed and Logan was great, I like a psychopathic victor.

A slight nit pick on the otherwise great fight scene, the position of Wolverine's forearm and claws, if its the same arm with the claws in victor's should that position would not give Logan much leverage, unless you meant his other arm, which would work well, but combined with ripping the claws out it was a tad bit confusing which arm was where.

The dialogue between Rogue and Wolverine was fun, looking forward to figuring out this new world along with Rogue

That flash back is kinda painful to read, so very sad to see Marie going through all of that. Even though on the surface this Marie feels familiar I can see that she is going to be quite a bit different.

So wonderful to see them try to feel each other out. And always great to the attraction between my favorite couple. It make me wonder did this rogue never met Wolverine before? Or is the other wolverine just that much different?

Probably better if you don't spoil it for me, very much looking forward to the next chapter.
