I loved this story a lot. Not only was the plot intriguing and the characters wonderfully crafted, I loved you're version of Rogue. She was more than a victim, she had brass and strength, with still being vulnerable and sympathetic. My only complaint would be that the subplot dealing with the prophecies could have been developed further. There was so much potential there and I'll admit I was disappointed that it didn't come find her despite her having destroyed the books.
NOW COMPLETE! Rogue’s discovery that the cure has limitations sends her on a journey. In the process, she’ll find out just what she’s made of and what she’s capable of doing. Starts toward the end of X3. BETA read by the lovely doctorg!

I'm sorry about your friend. I hope things worked out with them. I liked this chapter better than the first probably because it was written from a point of view that was more true to how you felt about your friend's ordeal. It made this chapter feel more real and earnest. Thank you for sharing.
