Whoa! That was...Whoa! What the HELL happened to Rogue?! This is some INTENSE stuff! It is also awesome and action-packed! Can't wait to see what happens next!

Why Rogue let it go so long with Logan determining the way their relationship would develop is beyond me! He's a MAN! Men are CLUELESS when it comes to relationships! I'm glad that Beth girl got her to stop pussyfooting around so she could tell her man how it's going to be from now on.

P.S. Great story, by the way! So cute to see Logan at a loss for words!

Oh, this was lovely! Once again I've read fanfiction on this site that I wish had happened in the movie!

Awwww, that was awesome! You used such wonderful evocative imagery! I could really see that room in the back of the bar, all smokey, filled with men telling lies about what and who they've done. And I could really feel Logan's sense of loss at the idea that he will never have Marie the way he wants. But I can't help but wonder why? Is it the typical she's-so-young-and-I'm-just-a-old-horny-old-man thing? Or is it the she's-so-pure-and-I'll-just-corrupt-her bit? I wish we had a companion piece with Rogue's feelings. All in all, it was a great read!

I don't know what to say about this story! It appears to have every troupe in a X-Men story: clueless Logan, mutant labs, breeding experiments, love triangles, even Jean "rising" from the dead, and yet it doesn't seem like the author is forcing a mishmash of plot-points into a half-baked story. It all flows into this seamless work of art that is gripping, heart wrenching, bittersweet, yet hopeful. All I can say is Bravo!

Ohhhhh, that was GREAT! You MUST write a sequel! Logan and Marie in a LINGERIE STORE! The possibilities are ENDLESS!

OK, I get that this is supposted to be angsty and depressing and sad, but I don't think the author thought this through. If Logan can have active viruses in his body that don't affect him but can be passed on to others, then he would be leaving a swath of dead bodies behind him without ever popping his claws. He's over 180 years old, which means he's been in contact with all sorts of diseases that most of us haven't even heard of. He would have killed Marie by exposing her (and everyone else at the school) to small pox or the 1918 bird flu long before she would have had a chance to get HIV.

That being said, this is a well written story, even though the primise is unlikely.

“Did you cry over her death?” Logan noted the shake in Rogue’s voice, and smelled the salty tang of the tears brimming behind her lashes.

“No.”

“Can I?”

“Yeah.”

That has got to be the most poignant words of dialogue that I've ever read! This story is sad, and sweet and beautiful. Great job!

Ohhhh! Those sneaky so-in-sos! They should be ashamed of themselves for torturing the X-Geeks that away! I laughed out at what they did, but still!
