I'm a 30-year-old chick who has loved the partnership of Rogue and Logan since I was a wee whippersnapper. I remember watching the X-Men cartoons late in the afternoon on FOX when I was a kid and thinking how cool they were. Then the movies came out and even though I was marginally outraged at how they portrayed Rogue, I still thought the relationship was good enough to be expounded on.

I cannot express how happy I was years ago after stumbling upon WRFA. I've been hooked to the fiction ever since.

Wonderful story. A little action, a little romance, and one hot love scene. Very well done.

Smut. Pure and simple. With a bit of a humorous ending. Pity Scott. Pity him.

Jeepers. That may have been the hottest PWP I've ever read. Well done.

Sometimes we get the balance wrong. Life is not about knowing the answers, life is what happens while you're looking for them. And the bad decisions? The screw-ups? They're what keep it interesting.

What a wonderful update. Something I've always enjoyed is a plausible explanation as to why Rogue would discover, be given, or master the control of her mutation. The yearning for Logan to want her to use it and the likelihood that the Professor would aid Rogue in taming her mutation is quite well done. Keep up the great work!

Author's Response: Whooop! I love that you called it a plausible explanation. I really wanted to find something that could work and wasn\'t a complete cop-out. Thanks :o)

Another great chapter! She's in trouble now. You did a wonderfully realistic job describing how Mystique and Rogue would get away with something like this. Very well done. I'm looking forward to more.

Author's Response: \'You did a wonderfully realistic job describing how Mystique and Rogue would get away with something like this.\' - I\'m so glad that came across ok! I don\'t have much experience in being a criminal mastermind *lol* - so that could have been a big flop *g* Glad you\'re enjoying it! And thanks for the fb :o)

Another great chapter! I was not expecting Marie to turn into Logan, so that was a nice surprise. Nor was I expecting Logan to arrive so quickly. She's in trouble now. Looking forward to the next chapter!

Author's Response: Thanks :oD I don\'t think Rogue was expecting Logan to turn up either *lol*

Really great chapter. I loved the drama you created by having us experience fleeing through Rogue's eyes. I'm truly looking forward to your resolution to this. Keep up the great work!

Author's Response: Thanks :oD That\'s a lovely compliment. Made me grin loads! Glad you\'re enjoying it!

So much drama with these two. Good grief. Great to see this story updated again, and this was a wonderful chapter. I like it when arguments between these two don't go how I expect. Looking forward to more.

Author's Response: Thanks :o) I\'m kinda glad the argument didn\'t go the way you expected. I hate being predictable *g* Glad you\'re still enjoying it!

Wonderful chapter. Especially Marie's denial of what's right in front of her. Very poignant and heartbreaking. Nothing makes a great chapter like well written angst. Looking forward to the next chapter!

This really was a lovely chapter. Poor Scott. You let us see him in a realistic light, one most people would experience had they been through the same situation, and didn't pretty it up. I like that. And Rogue gets better slowly, as she should. Very well done. Keep up the great work.

Author's Response: Thank you :o) I didn\'t want to rush the healing process, so I\'m glad it came across ok.

Now THAT was an update!! Awesome chapter! I love how you write Scott. I know I've said it before, but it just bears repeating again and again. He's so broken, but he's still Scott. Rogue needed someone to slap her upside the head and the fearless leader managed quite nicely. I'm really looking forward to her finally talking to Logan.

Author's Response: Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it :oD I love writing Scott - especially when he gets sarcastic *g* I think he\'s definitely what Rogue needed!

Finally. Even if only one of them did any real talking, at least there was verbalization to be had. If given enough time, these two crazy kids might actually have a conversation! ;) Great job.

Author's Response: *lol* yeah - one talking is better than neither, right? They\'re getting there... slowly... *g*

Now THAT was an update!! Excellent combination of full blown angst and hot, angry wall sex. Again, very well done. Thanks for the update and can't wait for the next one!

Author's Response: You can\'t go wrong with a bit of angsty angry wall sex *lol*. It should have it\'s own genre *g* Glad you enjoyed it!

Rogue has a little talk with Logan about scars she used to have, which she no longer has since the occasions she's borrowed his mutation. It turns into a little something more, and Rogue takes advantage of it.

Wonderful story. Short, sweet, to the point, with just enough background to let everyone know what's going on. I really liked how you built up to mentioning Carol. It gave me a certain sense of anticipation, wondering what had given Rogue such confidence. I really enjoyed this. Thank you for sharing.

Author's Response: Thank you. I\'m very glad that you like it, and that you like how I handled Rogue in this one.

Absolutely wonderful. Truly. You paint such a vivid picture of these two, and it's so easy to imagine everything. The relationship you make between these two is a thing of beauty. Thank you so much for sharing.

Author's Response: Wow. Thank *you* for such a lovely review. I\'m very pleased to hear that you liked this story as much as I did, and that it managed to achieve what I wanted it to.

Logan and a somewhat more comics-inspired Rogue butt heads in Laughlin City. Adversarial strangers quickly become dysfunctional comrades.

Part one of the Dark Side of the Moon series. Same premise, different consequences owing to a treatment facility for mutants called Southaven and a focus on the chemistry between Logan and Rogue.

Another great chapter! My favorite part is definitely the moment Rogue thinks she's about to be captured and her eyes flash green. Logan might be a coarse old bastard, but he's got his soft spots when he recognizes them. Looking forward to the next chapter!

Have I expressed yet how much I love this story? If not, please, allow me to elaborate. I love how well you write these two wonderful characters. There's no need to write their dialogue phonetically, which I absolutely adore, because we already know they have accents. It's just two people, being smartasses, and we the reader enjoying the repartee. Another thing I love is that you've given Rogue Carol's powers, but she isn't close to having them mastered just yet.

You've got a great story here that keeps getting better. I'm really, really looking forward to the next chapter. Thanks for updating so regularly.

Author's Response: Thank you for your amazing feedback! :D I\'m so glad you\'re enjoying the story better and better, and that the characters\' voices are resonating. There\'s a lot more to go, so I\'ll do my best to get updating regularly. And I have a beta now, so hopefully she\'ll keep me on track as far as time and characterization goes, haha.

Ha! Logan's such an ass. It makes me laugh. Another chapter full of humor and ways for these two to get in trouble. I guess my only quibble with this chapter is your saying Marie served two tours in Afghanistan, but then you say she knows where contraband can be found in the Iraqi city of Fallujah. Please feel free to slap me if you meant for Marie to have gleaned that information from Carol or someone else. Again, though, wonderful chapter. I continue to look forward to your next chapter!

Author's Response: Ach! Actually, what happened was originally I had \"her\" (Carol) serving two in Afghanistan and then one Iraq, but I figured (a) Carol\'s pretty young and (b) this is a world without Bush so there probably wouldn\'t have been an Iraq war, heh. But then I didn\'t change the city! Thanks so much for pointing that out! Will fix.

Adjusting to life at the Mansion, Rogue struggles with her mutation and the fallout from Southaven, while Logan has to come to terms with her lies and his responsibilities.

Another great start to what I know will be a wonderful story. It's quite possible this is my favorite chapter of the series thus far. I was interested to see how Marie was going to handle holding herself back from touching Logan, and you've done a masterful job portraying the difficulty both parties have in restraining themselves. Love it. Looking forward to the next chapter!

Author's Response: Thank you! Rogue has a lot of restraint in X2, telling Bobby that she doesn\'t want to hurt him, etc., so I definitely wanted to show sort of the psychosis behind that fear. But, since it\'s Logan we\'re talking about here, she\'s more willing to push the envelope. *g* More soon!

So close to the original, but so much better. Your Rogue is wonderful. She's got the attitude she always should have had with the rest of the world. I also like the underlying disapproval you have going on with the "grownups" and the dynamic duo. Thanks for the update!

Author's Response: You\'re very welcome! I like to think the writers would\'ve given her the attitude if they hadn\'t had to cram in fifteen hundred characters in two hours. The disapproval angle is a thin line, so it\'s good to hear it worked for you. :)

Rogue and Logan haven't met, but Rogue knows a lot about Logan, mostly because of a run-in with Nick Fury. Chaos, despair, and memories follow.

I really like this story. It could be your best yet, and that's saying something because I really enjoy your work. You've crafted a wonderful backstory, general plot, and your very own version of Rogue that I absolutely love. Keep up the fantastic work, please. I'm looking forward to your next chapter!

Author's Response: Thank you, and I\'m very glad that you like my story, my work in general, and my Rogue. I\'m at an interesting place with this story, if only because––for once, because this so rarely happens––I have no earthly idea where it\'s going now, which is why the updates have slowed down so much. I guess you could say I\'m looking forward to the next chapter, too.
