Oh yes I remember this chapter. Just by itself it's perfect. You managed to convey Logan's disgust over himself and his relinquishing of the women in his past so hauntingly. The part where he admits he loved Marie more than then made me just melt away. So beautifully written.

Another huge chapter leading into a major point in your story. The new aspect of Logan and Rogue's relationship is cemented and Rogue is standing on her own here. I like her new confidence and Logan's difficulty in accepting it. Wonderfully described as usual. But knowing what comes next, this chapter stood out on it's own

There are many parts of this story that blow me
away. And then there is this chapter. If you forced me to pick my favorite, This would have to be it. Starting from how Logan forced her to sober up, and to your description of Rogue dealing with his memories of them crashing into her mind. Incredible . You got across both their torment and the way you did it? Genius. No loved the use of the mud,'and the rain and Logan losing control. I had tears in my eyes when he refused to let go, his anguish was heartbreaking. The way you had Rogue regain control was beautiful. Just so perfect. And the ending still managed to break my heart. I think this chapter should stand out on it's own. I wish I could give you more than ten stars, this deserves so much more

Ah yes, this chapter. I loved how you had Rogue acknowledge her attraction to Logan and her continuing confusion over what's happening to her. The end is one of the best cliffhangers I have ever read.

That was one of the hottest scenes I have ever read. Logan could be such a tease but he met his match with Rogue. Nice to see them break through the UST but of course, it had to hell at the end. I love your description of Logan when he fights his feral side and I especially love Rogue when she's strong. Nice ending. It being her mark on him makes it perfect. Your Logan and Rogue are so good.

I particularly remembered this chapter, I felt so bad for Logan. I love how you had Rogue reach out to him, they are best friends and this chapter reminded your readers of that. I love the interaction between Mystique and Blindspot, nice to know that Melanie feels bad. Daken is an asshat and Osborne sounds like a big problem. The end however made me sigh

Oh my oh my oh my. Yet another chapter I read a shameless amount of times. Interesting how Rogue recognizes the extreme power of the professor and instinctually is guilty for the hold she has over him. Again you manage to convey her trust of Logan, how safe he makes her feel. Nice to see her relationship with Beast be rebuilt as well. The ending was spectacular. What a way for Rogue to finally admit her love to Logan. How perfectly done

This was the part of the story where I think I fell in love with it. Your original notes mentioned that you were planning to make this story really different but nothing could have prepared me for this. And I loved it! You are amazing in your ability to really bring your readers into your story I really felt I was there hearing her sing and the reaction of the audience. Plus Rogues/Anina's reaction was powerful stuff. This was a big turning point in your story

I love Anna's creation of a new school for younger students it tied in nicely with her relationship with the kids before. Nice buildup with Scott, very believable and that conversation with the professor was very ominous. Another wonderfully written chapter

I think I fell in love with Scott here! He was exactly what Anna needed, no pressure just sweetness. Such a good guy. So many twists and turns, did I say how much I enjoyed this story? Yet another chapter of fantasticalness. I love how powerful Rogue seems to be and how Xavier is under her control. The conversation between Logan and Emma was amazing, nice to see how Scott might have a chance of moving on with someone else. But the end had me freaking. I wanted to tear out Auroras hair myself! So much stuff happening here, you are doing such a great job bringing everything together. In the beginning of this story you touched on Itsu and the pregnancy and then you touched on the angel and now everything is a about to hit the fan. It's much better reading this story all on one shot to keep all the plots subplots in the forefront of my mind. I'm catching all the points I had forgotten about. Poor Logan. You sure aren't making it easy for any of them. Love the French - I was proud of myself for being able to follow without referring to your end notes! Until tomorrow ( and hopefully you've updated your epilogue by then pretty pretty please?)
Author's Response: My new favourite word is fantasticalness, lol! Love it! I had to throw some more fellow Canadian\'s into the mix and Aurora is one of my faves. My French is brutal but so far, no one\'s complained (although they are more than welcome to!!!) but can I tell you, once again, that your reviews are awesome? I have so many things going on in this story, true, and Itsu was always a big part of it but I didn\'t want too much focus on her earlier because I knew Logan and Marie had so much more to go through. Thank you for this. Epilogue is still in the works, but it should be done soon. Promise. :)

There are just so many wonderful things that I love about this chapter. You got across all the personalities of the XMen and their love for Rogue and I was so happy to see them prevent Logan from getting her back. I loved finding out that Scott had fallen in love with her but was more concerned about her happiness. I really loved how Logan was beginning to suffer and that it was Rogue who left and not him. The scene at the end was heartbreaking as well.

That scene at the beginning just made me sigh. Even in Rogue's subconscious she recognizes the connection she has with Logan and so does Logan. You also brought up how half the XMen were willing to do what the professor wanted so easily. Rogue was right to tell off Storm, Ororo was always too accepting of what Xavier wanted. Cool too how Logan is so caring of Rogue and that they are beginning to reach out to each other. So happy that Laura is going to be alright.
Author's Response: So true. That connection is always there, especially Rogue\'s feeling of safety when Logan\'s around. And yes, its true, some X-Men are a little too accepting of Xavier\'s decisions and commands, aren\'t they?

My heart just broke in a million pieces reading this. Poor, poor little Anna Marie. I love how protective everyone is over Rogue (it really is so enjoyable reading this again knowing about future developments) but my favourite is the end. Logan taking her into his arms while she slept is such a lovely visual. It really shows to me their connection and how much she means to him. I'll be back to reviewing soon, I hope my little contribution helped offset your disappointment in the loss of your reviews. I enjoyed reading them myself and so many reflected my take on your story that I had not reviewed myself for the sake of not repeating them. This is one of many chapters in this story that made me just sit on the edge of my seat. Right from the get go you had me completely enthralled. The childhood memory had me curious and the scene in the church was so beautiful. The howl of the wolf at the moon was so achingly perfect. Poor Remy. What a bone head thing to do ! I like Rogue all fired up, giving as good as she got from Logan but I adored his reaction to seeing Remy and Rogue kiss. All in spite of himself. So damn sexy actually. And the arrival of her father was just extra extra icing on top of the triple layered cake this chapter was.

This chapter is one that I found myself re-reading and re-reading so many times that I lost count. I adored the way you described Rogue's developing feralness and her attempts to control it. So very very believable. But that scene with Logan was just unbelievable. Their reaction to each other had me breathless and his sudden understanding of what was happening to Rogue had my heart thumping. So beautifully transcribed. I truly enjoyed this.

Lots of imagery here. The interaction between Jubilee and Kitty was priceless! No nonsense from these two and it was hilarious! I think I was blushing right along with Rogue! This is where I think I started to fall in love with both Scott and Remy. Knowing what I know now, it makes little nuggets like the airport scene all the more poignant. And Remy is just so sexy. I started to kind of cheer for him here, especially in light of Logan's heavy handed response at the end. But honestly? I still love Logan more.

I really enjoyed bringing the other Xmen into my story, I have a difficult time imagining that just Logan and Marie can interact without everyone else around. Marie\'s relationship with Jubilee and Kitty is very important to her so their take on her \"problem\" needed to be exposed, lol.
