Author's Response: Yeah, I wasn\'t sure if I would stick to him stabbing her, but I definitely feel that every AU has to have Rogue absorbing Logan at some point. It\'s just so central to her character to have Inner!Logan. In the end, Azazel being such a jerk seemed like a logical way to achieve both ends. Yeah, the Christmas carol joke was a little off-tone for the rest of the chapter, but I couldn\'t resist. I tried hard to kill off Emma, but in the end I settled for humiliating her.

Just reread this to take a break from school work. Wow, it's wonderful. Love it!

I love this story so much I just re-read it all over again. :) The vulnerability Logan has in it is touching and sweet. And you somehow pull it off while keeping him his manly self. Kudos to you.

He is good for her. As soon as she gets used to him and knows he'd never hurt her intentionally. I love that he just wants to take care of her and will take whatever she'll give. His infatuation with her is adorable.

I say it all the time, but I really do love this story. And I'm sad there's only one more chapter for me to read after this. lol. You've captured it so well. The way they both just *feel* something for the other, but there's still the awkwardness, fear (of rejection, of being hurt, etc), nervousness, and vulnerability because they just don't *know* each other yet. Great, great story.
