Once upon a time I wrote on the mailing list as Kia Mira, but since way too much time has passed I forgot my password.

I wanted to be able to get back up and writing and even started working on Linked again.

I also started a fic title, To Touch the Moon. Which, is an AU that begins after Charles Xavier's death in a chapter titled, What Charles Knew.

Those of you that are still around may remember me saying I was an Uncanny X-men fan of Rogue, but that I had little love for Wolverine...And then I caught a glimpse of Hugh Jackman's back during the cage fight scene and I was on the edge of my seat uttering repeatedly the mantra, 'Please let that be Wolverine, please, oh please!'

I went to see that first movie 5 times and promptly started churning out crappy fan fiction that sucks grammatically. Sorry, folks! I can only say that I'd never written a day in my life when the first few stories popped out.

Anyway...Here I am and I am hoping to get my ol' Kia Mira account back but I think that will be sometime and I want to review some of the awesome works I have found here.

Rogue could almost taste his presence. Feel his hands as he guided her through the postures, see the bead of sweat making its way down the planes of his back as he turned away from her. She had to blink to chase away the fantasy: he wasn’t here yet. He might not want to come with them. With her. She had left him for dead, after all.

Yeah, I read uncanny x-men when I was a girl and going through the topic above and thought it would be the mutation I would want...So, yeah I agree it is mental and not solely the out come of genetics after all it, a mutation as extreme as untouchability, would lead to the extinction of the species and would not be a leap forward, but a fall backward.
