Barely Legal Since 2000
gotta say i'm loving this. i like it when the story is action-packed, gritty and has a healthy dose of the aul rogan- and this story delivers. really looking forward to finding out what's happening next. thanks for some good reading :-)
Author's Response: Yay! So glad you\'re liking it. Thanks so much for reviewing!
i like where this is going... gotta say i'm enjoying how different this is and your characterization of both rogue and wolvie... i always enjoy it when rogue's written strong and put together like this, rather than as a basket-case who needs to be rescued. i think the set-up and the story is nicely "real world," too and look forward to reading the rest. hobbits away, hey!
Author's Response: I\'m glad you\'re liking it! Yeah, I had to go back over this chapter to toughen up Marie a little. :-D She keeps wanting to get weepy on me, but I\'m holding the line. Thanks so much for reviewing!
as always nicely done. i assume erik managed to screw things up without even being present- the man has a gift. looking forward to the next chapter. hobbits away, hey!
Author's Response: Sorry, I missed this review before. You got my number, though, with the Erik angle! Thanks for reviewing!
good chapter: really enjoyed the exchange of info and the new development. more please!
Author's Response: Very gracious of you not to start out your review with, \"I called it!\" because you totally did. ;-) Glad you liked the chapter, even if I couldn\'t surprise you. Thanks so much for reviewing!
really enjoyable, and thanks for giving me a non psycho hose-beast jeannie- made my week. love ororo's voice too. happy new year!
Author's Response: Thanks so much for your review, and glad you found the chapter enjoyable! Yeah, I had never planned to make Jean so over-the-top bitchy, but I couldn\'t resist it for one chapter. My excuse was that she was just hella-mad at Logan (for the reasons outlined in this chapter) and she let it show uninhibitedly, but she was always going to show a saner side. :-) So glad you liked Ororo\'s voice too. Happy new year to you as well!
hey there, great chapter, loved the stuff with magneto. you never really think about how much metal there is in the world until you have to write for him, do you? the tension was handled wonderfully, though i thought jean could have come in a little earlier- but other than that a really great chapter. looking forward to more-
hobbits away, hey!
Author's Response: So glad you liked it! Yeah, I hadn\'t planned on the tags being a liability when I first established that Marie was still wearing them, but it seemed convenient. And you\'re right, there\'s no good explanation for why Jean didn\'t make an earlier entrance, I tried to get her in there sooner but it detracted from the action to get in an, \"Oh, and also, Jean stood by uncertainly.\" ;-) We\'ll just chalk it up to the fact that she had difficulty running through Central Park in her Louboutins, should we? Thanks again for reviewing!
hey hun, nice work as always. enjoyed the little twist with stacy, looking forward to finding out what happens next.
hobbits away, hey!
Author's Response: Thanks so much for reviewing!
hi, know i haven't reviewed in ages but wanted to say i'm still really enjoying the story and that i loved this chapter. it was easy to follow straight to the point, not to mention you got my girl kitty in there. kudos, looking forward to the rest. hobbits away, hey!
Author's Response: Hi there! No worries about not reviewing if it means your time has been spent writing! Glad you commented on finding this chapter easy to follow, I was worried that the whole phasing action scene might be a little convoluted. Thanks for the review!
wonderful as always. know what you mean about our favourite couple being sex-mad: you leave them alone for two minutes and BAM! (Literally, in this case). enjoyed this chapter anyway, keep up with the story;-)
Author's Response: :-) Glad you liked it. Yes, I definitely didn\'t expect it, but it retrospect it make sense that Logan would want to prove that her skin doesn\'t matter in a very hands-on way. He\'s just that kinda guy. Thanks for your review!
hey, you're right, it IS better to go out with a bang. have to say i enjoyed the ride, thanks for posting this... hobbits away, hey!
Author's Response: :-D So glad you enjoyed it...thanks so much for reviewing!
you do know that this is congenitally cute, don't you? Lovely to hear from you again and with such a sweet story. welcome back, hope you're better...
have to say, i really enjoyed this. in particular i loved how kick-ass you made the fight scenes and what rogue does in them: can't be dealing with a scaredy-cat marie! thanks for this, i look forward to reading the next.
hobbits away, hey!
Author's Response: Never liked the weak Marie characters... : ) I like me some kick-ass ROGUE! Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for all the reviews!
i'm intrigued... lovely to have you back, i always adore your stories and this one looks like a doozie. looking forward to more, hobbits away, hey!
Have to say, I quite enjoyed this. Brisk, frank, nicely structured and elegantly written you got a huge amount of story into a few chapters. I'm impressed.
Hobbits away, hey!
As always I love it, however dark it is. Think being stuck in a relationship like that would be a pretty good definition of Hell, but I can see why someone would stick with it too. And just out of curiosity, Eli Navarro didn't happen to be the one inking that tattoo in Neptune, did he?
Author's Response: Pretty bleak, I know ... but I can see that element of compulsion between them. And yes, it was Eli - Eli/V are my other forever-after OTP (if you\'re a fan, take a look at my A03 - lots there!). And he just snuck in there - I was amazed!
