Just a hint: Her mother wouldn't know the white hairs were caused by an accident. She'd probably just think she died it.

Author's Response: I wasn\'t suggesting that her mother would automatically know. I was imagining that her mother would ask about it and Rogue would tell her it was an accident in such a way that her mother would leave the subject alone. That\'s why a put inverted commas around the word \'accident\' to show she doesn\'t quite believe Rogue and thinks there is something Rogue is not telling her (and she\'d be right of course) but doesn\'t feel she has the right to push her. Sorry I wasn\'t clearer in the story.
