What a good mix of the dramatic and the domestic in this chapter. :o) I'm really enjoying the story so far. And I'm looking forward to when Donella and Xavier reunite, even if it is just Donella visiting the unconscious man in the med-lab. Poor Jean. It must be unpleasant to carry around so much poison. I hope she snaps out of it before her jealousy really messes things up! Or until that fortuitous rockslide. :)

Good stuff! Packs a punch for being brief. I was the exact opposite of Wendie-- the Bobby part had me snowed (I was thinking "angst" means no Logan!) but figured out the Jean part. :) Well done.

I love it when everyone lives happily ever after. :o) I haven't been reviewing--though I've definitely been reading! I've enjoyed the story, the grand arc as well as the details. I appreciated that Jean wasn't evil. I like an evil Jean story as much as the next girl, but I think I prefer characters who are more multi-dimensional. Like Victor in your story.
