"I"
'Come on you can say it, you practiced it a thousand times in the mirror.'

Taking a deep breath she whispered,
"I love you Logan."
With eyes cast down she didn't notice that Logan froze completely. It took him a minute to actually register what Marie had said.

"Why are you telling me this?"
He was starting to get upset. Rogue knew she was out of her league.

Glancing over to him quickly she responded,
"I thought you'd want to know. Know how I feel. Thought it might change things..." she trailed off.

"It doesn't matter what you think you feel towards me. Just leave it alone."
He got up and walked back to the mansion.

The sound of Scooters motorcycle awoke him.
'Shit. 3am. Where the hell is Scott going?'

Marie knew how to drive a bike from Logan. Squealing out of the garage, she knew Logan would hear the bike.

Smiling to herself, she hit the accelerator button and drove on.
Chapter End Notes:
I know it's short. I wrote this awhile ago on a piece of receipt paper from work. I noticed the part "It doesn't matter what you think you feel..." is what The Rock says. Now I always think of that when I read it.
