He's been next to her the whole time, always touching her. On that strange looking plane, he held her hand, talking to her. The blue furry doctor said it was only a concussion and that she would come around soon. I passed out myself for a while and woke in a hospital. I could see through the window to the next room and that angry looking man was still sitting with her, holding her hand, sometimes running his other hand through her hair. When the doctor left the room the man shifted her over over on the bed and climbed up next to her, pulling her close as if he couldn't be close enough and wanted to draw her into his own body if he could.
I don't know how to feel about the obvious love between them. One thing, the age gap worries me and he seems so possesive of her. But how can I judge him when the man I thought loved his family so much kicked our little girl out? And when I got sick was more than happy to leave me at the hospital. Then my angel Marie came home. I saw what he was planning and knew I had to stop it and not let my little girl be hurt anymore. I just don't want her to end up like me, but for now I'll just hold my tongue
Chapter End Notes:
I wanted Marie to have one loving parent but knew she had to be weak enough to let her husband kick out their child without leaving as well.
