Author's Chapter Notes:
There's not much behind this. And I'll have to admit that I wrote this during a lecture in philosophy of law (how strange is that?) But there's no philosophy in here. It just kind of reflects on what Rogue might have felt after having touched Magneto and after being dragged down by his emotions. Oh, and I normally don't do poetry, so forgive me if this is edgy.
She's on the dark side
Neutralising every thought
living the hate,
tasting the despair,
feeling the threat.
She's on the dark side
Shutting out every feeling,
every doubt.
She's on the dark side -
afraid of opening her
eyes.
Afraid of the light,
afraid of the warmth,
afraid of everything.
She's on the dark side.
Eyes closed.
Shivering.
Trapped.
