So, I will admit that I have been cheating on you guys with the Sherlock
(BBC) fandom. There was a fic recently completed in that fandom that was a
series of ficlets based on the "50 Reasons to Have Sex" list from How I Met
Your Mother.

but as an example, some of the reasons include, "It's cold," "You finally
get the chance to show your childhood bed some action," "Celebrating the
joy of life after a near-death experience," etc. Instead of one author
tackling all 50 reasons, though, I thought maybe we could divide and
conquer, each of us taking one (or more if needed to complete all 50) and
posting them as a series.

If you're interested, here's what I was thinking of for rules:

1. to participate, email me at drgsfanficemail (at) gmail (dot) com. You
can request a specific reason from the list which will be assigned on a
first-come, first-serve basis, or if you're feeling wild tell me to pick
one for you at random and I'll do so

2. When I send you back your reason, start writing. It can be a short
drabble or a longer fic. It doesn't have to be explicit at all, you can
end the scene before the smutty part even, as long as it involves the
characters having sex for the reason listed

3. Post to the WRFA under the Series "Fifty Reasons" (I'll try to make a
series, I've never done one before.) Title your fic "Reason #X:" and then
after the colon whatever you want the reason to be. You can have the
reason as the title, in the story/chapter notes, or in the end notes if you
want it to be a surprise. You can cross-post to FFN or AO3 or your
LiveJournal or wherever you want, of course, but let's definitely put them
on the WRFA.

4. I figured we could have an informal deadline of the date of the
Wolverine premiere (July 26th) to start posting. I'm not going to hound
anyone for their submission, but if you haven't posted by end of August
maybe I'll assign your reason to someone else because I'm a neurotic
completist.
