I was the one left behind.
I was the one left to cry.

Bobby left me for Kitty.

Jean left Scott for Logan.

Scott moved on and him and
Jubilee got married after a year
of dating.

They moved to Alaska to start
a family.

Bobby and Kitty moved to Boston.

John left for the Brotherhood.

Peter returned to Russia.

Jean and Logan moved into
the Boathouse after they eloped.

The Professor was in Washington
almost constantly now.

Ororo and Hank were to
be married soon as well.

I decided I was tired of being left alone.
I wrote all my goodbye letters and slipped
away. I faded out and let her take over.
Carol is a much stronger person than I am.

As I laid down to sleep that night I
whispered one last goodbye into the
dark. " This time, I won't be back. "
