We were in the common room for movie night when it happened. Logan, Scott, myself and the younger children were watching Jurassic Park III/

Halfway into the movie, while passing the bowls of popcorn around, Sam innocently asked the question. None of us were prepared for what came out of his mouth, Least of all, Logan.

" Mr. Logan " Sam asked with great intrigue, " what were the dinosaurs like. "

The swallow of beer went down the wrong pipe and Logan began to choke. His face went crimson red because he couldn't breathe.

Scott was laughing so hard he fell off the sofa into the floor. He was also currently struggling to breathe and was soon as red as Logan.

I was doing my best to hold it in, while they got themselves together. Apparently a healing factor didn't cover complete shock and embarrassment.

All the while Sam was still sitting there patiently waiting for his answer.

" Sam, the dinosaurs were already extinct when i was born. " Logan stated.( rather hoarsley)

" Oh " was all Sam replied.

" Is there anything else you wanted to ask me Sam "

" No. "

" Ok then. I'm going to go now. "

He leaned down and whispered in my ear.
" Gnight Marie, this old man is going to bed. "

My laughter followed him down the hall. After all it was only nine thirty.
