Story Notes:
One of you requested a sequel to my little drabble Sleepwalking that I posted a while back. I really wasn't going to write one, because I felt it stood well alone, but then these prompt appeared on the X-Men 100 LiveJournal: Ghost, dream, whisper. And this jumped into my head. Word count: 100

1. Midnight Interception by Tink

Midnight Interception by Tink
Xavier mansion. Quiet night.

Logan leans against a doorway, half asleep. He jumps at the sound of a door as it creaks open.

A pale female forms appears, slinking like a ghost into the dark hallway. Her ivory skin glows in the moonlight, making her look almost ethereal. Like a dream.

She moves past him, unseeing eyes open, revealing her deep slumber.

He jumps up with catlike grace. Gloves on, he moves to intercept her. Gently grabbing her bare shoulders, he turns her around, guiding her back towards her room.

"Go back to bed, darlin'," he whispers. "I'll be here."
