I can see that she feels like a stranger in her own skin. She looks like this every time she takes a little bit of life from someone with just a single touch. She looks at her hands as if she had never seen them before.

Even if they were evil, even if we were right, I know she would still feel guilty. I remember when I used to feel that way, but now it’s not even something I think about. We just can’t let ourselves care.

She stares at her hands and says,
