As I said before. This is like watching the door to Hades fall open and all the demons run out into the night.

This is the darkest hour for them. It's time to decide what they are and what are they ready to do.

It's sad to see all the treason and broken hurts as a result of it. But also the ignite of either hope to make it better or fury to battle against it.

I adore this chapter. The whole story has been an enjoyment, though I particularly liked the section in the wilds of Canada over winter. This chapter is meaty, almost poetic in parts, and the paragraph about Logan going out camping when all the women got hormonal is just grand!

Author's Response: Heck wouldn't you if your nose could pick up everything in there? LOL! I would, I'm glad your enjoying the story I'm trying to get it as 'real' as possible, the confusion, the upset and the 'what do we do now?' aspects. I'm happy that seems to be working, thanks for the comment hon!

Wow….just, whoa…I’m so surprised that ‘Ro just hasn’t completely just lost it. Totally cracked. So much stuff to absorb and process about a man she truly cared for and believed to be a force for good for mutant-kind. And not just ‘regular’ stuff; like a little sumpin’ sumpin’ on the side or some friendly embezzlement. But really bad, manipulative, murderous stuff that no amount of apologies or penance can forgive. I feel so sorry for them all; for what Xavier has done to them, with them and now the trauma of all these truths coming to light. Your writing is very strong and moving, Jo, I adore how you draw me in and make me crazy!

Author's Response: Thanks hon! I always thought Ororo's emotional stability has been in question mainly because of the way she was found. Being a street kid who was abused for many years in Cairo has left deep scars and in the comic books she could have seen Xavier 'kill' using his mind in her home city of Cairo. (Uncanny X-Men I think) Underneath all their powers they're still *human* trying to live a semi normal life. But we all know at what cost now. Thanks for commenting hon, glad your enjoying the ride.
