Oh, I'd hardly call Xavier's mansion *home*! More like the unholy center of the enemies' operations. Loved to see Xavier actually back away from Rogue!! Oh, yeah, he's gotten what he wanted - but now that he sees it in the flesh, is he so sure it's what he really wanted?

To quote a very wise man...'you can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you might find, you get what you need!'

And I think we all have some suggestions for what Xavier 'needs'!! [heh, heh, rubs hands together evilly]

Author's Response: I'm open to suggestion for Xavier....his way of doing things is very sneaky and very underhand. A bait and switch usually, keeping your attention somewhere else while he's doing something else right in front of you. Like with Marie, he kept her interested in Logan while he planned to use her later to draw out Magneto. Using the link they had to his own gains, if anything happened to her Logan would go after Mags and his crew and kill all of them no matter how long it took him. But now their back 'home' in the viper's den they have to be careful, Xavier is described as the worlds most powerful Psychic. And even with Logan's addled mess of brains he still needs them intact to function, the thing that will be Xaivers downfall will be his underestimating of the pair of them. He had a trained wolf (Logan) now he's got a female too and she won't wear a collar *grin*. Thanks for the comments hon and I'm always open to ideas for Xavier torture.
